Brickside is a nice addition to the far side of Bethesda. Â The seemingly temporary bars that inhabited the space prior had nothing on this spot. Â Although we only ordered one food item, the chicken skewers, the $4 Coronas on a hot summer day were too good to pass up. Â The decor is cool and the music is great. Major props to Sharon, one of the liveliest and more personable servers I have encountered, especially in Bethesda. Â I will be back!
Review Source:This place is really cool. The bar is nice and large and they have an incredible projection TV screen above the kitchen. I am thinking that this would be a great upscale place to watch Monday night football. Well one can dream of football in July. Alas I digress, I ordered the risotto balls and they were quite good. I also order the chicken sandwich and to be honest was a bit disappointed. Regardless the setting with the open air etc is what one me over. The bartenders were great as well. I am looking forward to my next visit.
Review Source:I was pretty underwhelmed by Brickside. The space is cool and I love the big windows that open in the bar area, but the food left a lot to be desired. Wings were good (and I appreciate a large shallow bowl of blue cheese), but pricey for just six. House salad was heavy on the lettuce and not much else. My ravioli was good and filling, but I could have made it myself honestly. My husband really disliked his burger - he thought everything was overcooked. Otherwise the service was pleasant and prompt and the drinks were fairly inventive. I'd probably stick here for happy hour rather than dinner.
