We were here for a cousins get together dinner. Â There were about 10 of us and 4 kids. Â Half of our group are already there waiting to be seated. Â So about 15-20 min or so the hostess directed us to our seats. Â I've noticed that there are some tables available and thought she would be directing us there. Â But instead she seated us at the patio smoking area. Â First of all, she didn't ask me in the beginning if we prefer inside or outside. Â But some of my cousins didn't mind but I do mind because there were kids around. Â It was about 90 degrees out and while we were eating some spicy buffalo wings,we were drenched with sweat! Â Is that why there's a bucket out there! Â Anyway, I went back and told them why can't we take the seats inside and the hostess and the two waitresses were hovering around me and said that someone had called to reserve a table for 17 people. Â HELLO!! I WOULD HAVE CALLED TOO BUT WHEN I SAW HERE ON YELP THAT THEY DON'T TAKE RESERVATIONS, I DIDN'T EVEN TRIED!!! Â I still like Buffalo Wild Wings but I will never go to this location again!
Review Source:I love Buffalo Wild Wings, I always do, except for this one. My friends and I came during lunch on Wing Tuesday and they had 65 cent wings woohoo (+1 star) so I ordered the Medium, Caribbean Jerk and Lemon Pepper wings and all of the wings were pretty much lukewarm at best, shriveled and dry, like they sat under the heat lamp for 20 minutes... Also, the Medium wings barely had any sauce on it, I don't know if it's because it's wing Tuesday and they decide to skimp on sauce but I would rather just pay full price and get normal nice wings instead of the dry wings they gave me.
Service was also horrible. It took our table 20 minutes to flag down a waiter/waitress to give us our check (it's like they don't even want our money) and then another 10 minutes to just take our money. The male host standing by the door saw me waving my hand at him to pick up our check and he just ignored me as if it's not his job, well maybe tell someone else to pick up the check then!! I'm glad I don't live next to this BWW because there is a less than 1% chance that I would come back here again. Nope!!
On the way back home from LA we stopped by for some 65 cent wings since it was Tuesday. It wasn't too busy so we were seated with no wait. It was my first time there and it seems like a great place to watch any sport games with the multiple TVs everywhere. Not just average size TVs either, these were a lot bigger than the average sports bars TVs.
There is a huge variety of flavors and rubs to choose from so we all ordered different flavors. My favorite was the Parmesan Garlic and the Asian Zing. Both were so rich and full of flavor, Â I didn't even need my side of ranch.
Service was fast and friendly. I ordered Hot BBQ wings and got regular Hot instead, the waitress quickly fixed the error. Â I'm not the biggest wing person, but everything was good. I would definitely return.
I've had several bad experiences here with their customer service and only eat here when I'm going with friends or for work. The servers hardly pay attention and usually need to get flagged down in order to have them come to your table, and even then, can be forgetful of what it is they were asked to bring when you've finally grabbed their attention. Most recently, we placed a to-go order to avoid the hassle of the bad customer service; however, that alone was a bad idea. When we arrived 15 minutes later to pick up our food, we were informed by the gentleman at the front (James?) that he completely forget to place our order. I stared at him blankly because I was in disbelief. He apologized and offered to place my order right then and there but I would have to wait yet another 10-15 minutes. I made him aware that my time was limited and asked if there was anything he could do to speed it up or make it less convenient. He went to the back and said there was nothing he could do and it would still be roughly 10 minutes. So you're telling me that you not only have bad customer service but also lack willingness to help? Ugh. Will not be going back as they have officially tainted my opinion of them. Werp.
Review Source:I like BWW when there aren't a million sports fans yelling at the top of their lungs. Tonight, luckily, was not one of those nights. (Yes, I've walked in and out of a BWW b/c of the crazy noise level). My date ordered 12 pieces of the normal wings and I ordered the jalapeno bites(?) and beer. The beers were average and the food gave my date a stomach ache. Way to go Buffalo!
Review Source:First off, even though I gave this place 3 stars, but I really wanted to give it a 2 and 1/2 stars (just a little above Yelp's "Meh, I have experience better") from the outside, looking just off the main street (Culver) the place looks great from the outside with its bright colors and nice looking patio and umbrella area. We all thought "Great This Should Be a Great Place"
Maybe we were expecting to much, we thought this would be a fun place to watch sports and have great food, Â like "Dick's Last Resort" that is down in San Diego Downtown Gas Lamp District (check it our on Youtube to see what I mean) Â Everyone comes out laughing and feeling happy, and the food taste great with nice size portions.
Anyway I, (We) thought the food here was just OK, not a place that I would probably go back again. (Maybe I'd go back and try their dogs & burgers just to give them  second chance) Â
It was just something about this place that didn't hit for me on all pistons. It's lacking something, and the people I came with thought the same thing. Â Maybe it's just me, but when I go into a "Sports Bar" I want hear a Sporting event, on at least one TV, not where all the sport channels are silent, and loud music blaring away. Â
If you go and take your family with kids, watch out as they sever their wings in small food paper tubs (that's got be pain for parents and the wait staff to clean up, especially if the food tubs fall on the floor. Â Seem to me that a bigger basket with lined paper would be better. Â
Hey Management, We Liked Lindsey, our waitress and is giving her 5 stars, she was good and nice!
I love wings! I love Buffalo Wild Wings! The first time I was there, they messed up our orders. I was pretty mad, but server Gabby had turn this angry customer into a regular customer. Super friendly service and everyone are full of energry. I usually go on tuesday night for $.65 traditional wings! Best deal!
Review Source:I had a few problems when I place a pick up order. Called BWW and spoke to the manager. She did a great job to resolve everything. Oh yeah, u are a prick if u think u can park anywhere just because u own a Lamborghini..... Â Food was great, friendly staff, fast service and management was great.
Review Source:Came here with a bunch of my friends after we finished finals to watch the game. Â
We all were soooooo hungry and just wanted to just drown in endless wings on wings on wings! Â
I ordered 18 wings, ALL of my favorite flavor, Honey BBQ. Â SO DELICIOUS. Â I ordered that with fries, which were crips and yummy. Â I also was happy that when we asked for ranch, our waiter was very generous and gave us plenty. Â Wings + Ranch = heaven. Â LOTS AND LOTS OF RANCH.
Anyway, the place is very nice. Â The environment is a bit on the loud side but it is completely appropriate because of all the sports games being broadcast on the millions of flat screen TVs they have up which is such a big plus especially when big games are going on. Â The service was on point, nothing was longer than the usual, Â getting our tables was pretty fast, everyone was really nice and accommodating. Â
The environment is the best place to be right after finals, just kicking it with your buds, munching on wings, and having a good time. Â We make it a tradition to after every quarter!
This was my first time eating at Buffalo Wild Wings. The service here in Irvine was great. Our waitress was very attentive. We never had to flag her down because she was already on it.
It was wing Tuesday, therefore, the prices on wings were a bit cheaper than usual. We ordered 50 pieces; garlic Parmesan, teriyaki, sweet BBQ, hot BBQ and original. We also ordered fried pickles and mozzarella sticks.
The fried pickles were heavenly, the mozzarella sticks were average and the chicken was very flavorful. The only problem was the wing size. Some of them were normal, however, others were huge, almost Dino-wing like.... I was afraid my kids were gonna age two years instantly after eating those wings clearly pumped full of hormones....
That evening, the kids were being aggressive, arguing, fussing, fighting etc. I couldn't help but wonder if the Dino-wings had anything to do with it....lol...
#ThingsThatMakeYouGoHmmmm
I've been to a few of these before and have always looked their wings. Much better than their busty competitor haha. I like that the wings, although sauced, are still crispy. I had the squishy skin that most wings come with so I think that frying them prior to saucing is a great technique.
If you're looking for hot wings, they definitely have some that will set your lips on fire. I prefer my heat to have flavor as well so I always get the mango habañero wings. It's the perfect amount of spice that will make your nose sniffle and your brow sweat, but the sweetness from the mango tones it down a tad. Definitely my favorite! A close second is the zesty Asian one which is much less spicy but still has great flavor..love the sweet chili sauce they use on it.
After wings, if you can fit it i to your stomach, you should try the dessert nachos! Crispy tortillas fried, dusted with cinnamon sugar, topped with vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolate drizzle, and in the center are delicious fried cheesecake bites! Eat the bites quick because it's best when still kinda warm :d
One complaint I have was that their drinks were really weak...don't bother ordering them, just stick with beer or wine; they can't water that down.
A go-to place if your looking for some, wings, sports, and drinks.
I often go here with big groups of people since they can seat huge groups and get food out really quick despite the huge order. TUESDAYS are the best since a wing is 60 cents each!
All of their sauces are really good. I typically go for the lemon pepper. I'm not too crazy when it comes to the sauces, I keep it safe in my lemon pepper bubble. I usually get a veggie boat or fries as well on the side, depending on how fat I wanna feel that day.
They have a bar area as well that is self seating so if the tables are too crazy, go to the bar.
Overall, a good place in Irvine if you want a sports restaurant atmosphere, some decent wings, and a place to get together with a group of people to grub.
Always come here time to time to grab a beer or get the cheap wings they offer on Mondays (60 cents)/Tuesdays (65 cents)
I came here tonight with a friend and we ordered about 20 wings. My two favorite: Asian Zing and Caribbean Jerk are always delicious. My friend actually ordered a new flavor I never tried called "Chipotle chicken" and it was tasty.
Nevertheless, you can't really go wrong with wings and have a good time with friends. They have many Tvs and projectors for you to watch all the la sports games (yuck) Sorry, I'm a bay area sports fanatic!
Our server was quick at the bar and NOT many people know, but if you scan the bar code with your phone or text the bww number you get $2 off per person! That's an additional order of wings if you have a big party like 10! GO FOR IT!
Came here after work to grab something to eat and my server was Martini who is an angel sent from the heavens above! He kept the good recommendations coming all night long particularly sunset wheat ale which tastes like fruity pebbles. Â YES MA'AMMMMMMMMMM!!!! Sorry for shouting I just need you to fully comprehend how amazing it was. Â He was personable yet professional all at the same time! Not sure how that's possible. Â It's as if the stars aligned and it was meant to be! Hehe! Â Also, bartender Jeff S. (I think that's his name he has tattoos all down his right arm that he had covered with a sleeve) was amazing! Â Server Alex also deserves a shoutout! Â He wasn't even my server but I grabbed him as he was walking by and demanded water as I suddenly became so parched the literal THRIST was real!! He immediately complied, sensed the urgency in my tone and promptly returned with the water. Â Now that's what I'm talking bout baby.
Side note: is it a requirement to work here that you are attractive????? Â Satan, why you tryna tempt a sistah???? Â Don't play me...
I had a good time at this location compared to others like the Bella Terra Huntington Beach one which I thought was horrible based on service. Â At this location in Irvine the waitress was spot on every time and all the other service was great. Â The wings were OK, nothing special but it is a buffalo wing chain and you get decent OK wings for a moderate price. Â As long as they are hot which they were and the drink refills keep coming then everything is fine.
Review Source:Yum yum yummm! Who doesn't love wings and beer? I was here a few days ago to watch the basketball game. Our server was quick to take our drink orders - we had the beer special, $6 for a 22 oz.
We started with some onion rings - yummmm! I love the onion rings here. They're not as hard and crunchy as ones served elsewhere. I also got an order of 6 boneless wings and chose the mango habenero sauce. It was good but OMG it was freakennnn spicy! I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. The honey bbq and garlic sauces were much better.
It got a little busier during the 2nd quarter so our server took a while to get more beer for us. We had to ask her like 3 times and waited for like 15 mins for another glass - not happy!
I have been coming back to this BWW for the past 2 years. Â The staff and management are great and and always friendly. Â The staff is very personable and they will take the time to talk with you when they have a free moment. Â
I highly recommend you visit this BWW and see for yourself how great it is.
Came here for their Tuesday 65 cent wing night. My friends and I come after work sometimes for a late night snack. We decided to try the one off Culver because we heard the wings taste better here compared to the Lake Forest one.
It was pretty crowded for a Tuesday night. I think there was a game on today. There were 2 tables of 4 in the bar area, as well as a table for 8, but the table for 8 had leftover food on it because they did not clean up the table yet. My friends and I decided to go eat in the dining area instead of the bar. We were told it was a 15 minute wait even though there were 3-4 tables available and they were clean!
After we got seated, about 15 minutes later our waitress came with our waters and she asked if we wanted to start with appetizers. We got the potato wedges with nacho cheese and before we could ask her if we could order our wings, she was gone! The appetizer was good, but not great. The potato wedges were crispy on the edges, and it went well with the nacho cheese. We got the basket size, and for $6, it was pretty small!
Throughout eating our appetizer, we kept our eyes out for the waitress, but she was nowhere to be found. Finally 30 minutes after we got our appetizer, we spotted her 3 tables away flirting with a table full of guys! What the heck! She disappears again, and only to reappear to flirt with another table full of guys! She did that for a third time, and we flagged down another waiter to ask if we could order. He told us that our waitress had to put in our order because she has the log in code. We finally got a hold of her and ordered our wings.
She only came by once to refill our waters, and out of the table of 5, she only refilled 3 cups. I didn't need a refill, but one of my other friends, who was sitting inside the booth, far away from the waitress, did not get a refill, even though she needed one!
All in all, our dining time was from 10-11:30pm. Pretty ridiculous considering we only ordered 5-10 wings each.
I also had to flag her down for our check. And after 10 minutes of us putting down our credit cards, she came by and grabbed the check.
Oh, by the way, our waitress's name is Jessica G. WORSE SERVER EVER!!! She will be an amazing server to you if you have a table full of guys or a table full of guys and one girl! We had a table full of girls and one guy.
Back to the food. I had their medium hot wings, and they were very savory. It was tangy with a hint of spice. I also had a side of ranch, which they charged 60 cents for. The cup was so tiny! The Lake Forest location definitely has better service and bigger cups for their sauce. Overall, I prefer eating at other wing places. But it is a good place if you want to come and chill with your friends, just as long as you order all your wings as soon as you see Jessica.
This is our favorite BWW for my boyfriend and I.
We've tried the BWW in Brea, Buena Park & Irvine and this one is definitely the best in food quality and service. We were here on Monday to watch the Bulls vs Heat game (beat the heat!) and we were there for quite a while because we stayed there until the OKC game. Our server Helen was amazing. She seemed to genuinely enjoy her job and care how her customers were doing. We ordered Garlic Parmesan, Salt & Vinear, and Medium. For $.60 per wing on Mondays who can resist? The Mango lemonade is soooo good and I always get it when I'm here.
Thanks for amazing service and we will be back! :)
Hmm so a few things -
1. Not sure why BWW doesn't serve pitchers of beer... they should probably look into doing that. Then again, they probably don't so you can pay premium for your glass of beer.
2. I got their mild buffalo sauce boneless wings, and it was waaaay salty.
3. I don't know if all BWW does this, but the owner of this one charges an extra $0.60 for carrots (6 little carrot sticks) if you want that added w your celery. I might as well have brought my own carrots.
4. They also charge you an extra $0.50 if you want an extra small serving cup of ranch. Again, I should've brought my own bottle of ranch if this was the case.
Reading reviews of other locations, it seems like a lot of them, if not all, charge extra for those things.
Other than that listed above, the service was pretty good. Our server, Maryann, checked on us frequently, replenished our water, and made sure the beers were flowing.
Overall, I feel I can get better wings elsewhere and not have to deal with all these extra charges.
Our Co-Ed softball team has been here a few times and after the horrible service we have received I do not think we will be going back.
The wings aren't as good as they advertise. Â A few of my co-workers including myself have been sick after eating them. Â Do not eat their food.
Their server Chuck is by far the rudest server there.  Did I fail to mention inappropriate as well. He  made inappropriate remarks towards people at our table.
If you are wanting a drink go straight to the bar because you will get a drink faster than the servers will bring them to you. Took us 30 minutes to get our first drink.
The only positive thing about this place is the bartender at the bar.
Definitely the place to go if you want to watch your FAVORITE SPORT TEAM PLAYING!
Great place to go with your family or friends.
Large screen TVs are all over the restaurant. Doesn't matter where you sit, you'll be looking at the TV.
Food taste great. I love the huge selection of the flavors, from mild to super SPICY!
Waitress service is great. They take down your order and serve your food relatively quickly.
Definitely will come back!
I came here for the first time today it was awesome the wings delicious drinks were good as any other bar I had no problem here, the service was good my day was awesome because all the TVs that they have. There are so many tv's it was easy to watch any game and u could tell them to change a channel to the different game they won't hesitate. Oh and this place is clean too :)
Review Source:I always love BWW but today our server was the bomb-diggity. Lindsey helped us out today and let my friend sample a Sam Adams Winter Ale (he ended up getting Shocktop instead). She helped one of us out with information on sauces for the wings and she was really patient and super friendly. My wings were too hot for me but she helped me out and hooked it up =D.
Super friendly service, always good food and sports everywhere. We even got to watch some ultimate dodgeball on the tv! Lindsey is awesome!
Buffalo Wild Wings, my favorite place to go on Traditional Wings Tuesday. I went to this particular location for the first time today. The service here was terrible... no one came by to get our order, give us our check.. there was one lady that didnt make a good impression on me. She was our waitress, but she ended up talking to the customers at the table next to me. She must have known them because she was complaining her little heart out to them! About work, her personal problems. She was so loud that it was hard to hear my friend at the table!
I tried boneless wings for the first time.. and it was just like chicken nuggets. No. I'm sticking with traditional wings for sure.
This is my second time coming here. Just your usual wings. They have quite a number of options for flavors. The Thai Curry wings were good, but it gets to be extremely salty if you eat too many. My least favorite was the Caribbean Jerk. I don't know what was in it that I wasn't liking but it just wasn't happening. I liked the Honey BBQ, Jammin Jalapeno, and Lemon one (I can't remember the exact name).
Overall, it's alright place. Big restaurant so you can easily accommodate large parties. For wings and flavor it's alright. Then again I haven't tried any other wing places. For now I'm good with KFC's hot wings even though it's a fast food joint.
Came here with some friends to watch the super bowl. It was extremely busy and we got situated outside on a pretty cool day. Decided to try the BONELESS wings this time since I've only gotten bone in before. BAAAAAAD DECISION. The wings came and many were disproportionally sized. Also, the boneless wings came EXTREMELY breaded and it did not feel like there was much chicken inside there at all...
Never come here to get Boneless wings...
I'm hardly ever unsatisfied leaving B-Dubz.
Although it's loud and noisy, I just love the atmosphere in here. Everyone comes into BWW for sports, beers, wings, and a good time. My go-to flavors are always Asian Zing and Honey BBQ. There have been the times when I get Mango Habanero, but not nearly as much anymore because lately I've been getting more habanero flavor than mango and my tongue can't handle the heat.
College just wouldn't be the same without BWW. Luckily, there's a location in Burbank when I move back home. Whew!
P.S.- Shout out to my fave waiter Alex! He's the best and introduced me to one of my fave beer combos- Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat with Apple Cider. Very fruit and girly, but delicious :]
My husband and I love this Buffalo Wild Wings. We are very specific when we order because we like our wings well done and they usually come out right. One of the main reasons is because when we first moved to Irvine, this was one of the first places we went because there was only 1 BDUBS in the whole state of Washington where we moved from.
We were lucky enough to be waited on by Justin. He is a great server and bartender. Very attentive. We have had others at this place, and they some were ok, but not great. As far as making sure our order is right and taking care of us, Justin has been awesome. If you happen to sit in the bar area, ask for him for sure.
j
I do love their wings and their sauces, especially jammin' jalapeno and spicy garlic. Get them well done with the sauce on the side...YUM. Its a wing place...don't get a burger and expect greatness.
I really don't like this place. I'm too old for sports bars and fried food ;) In fact, last time we came we walked around. Didn't like the look of the rowdy clientele and left. This place reminds me of a all-expenses paid Club 18-30 holiday operation.
Why did I come back? It was the cheap?! $10 entry for the Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 fight in Vegas. This time, the rowdy crowd and fried food was the perfect fit. The beer selection is ok; the food is still uninspired, but it was a fun night. The staff was very organized and professional and keep things moving.
We paid $20 entrance fee + $50 for the food and drinks. Not a cheap night. Would I come back for the specials mid-week? Not sure. I'll let you know....
My old roommates loved this place so much we'd be here every Tuesday for their 55 cent wings. I got hella sick of wings pretty fast.... But I do think BWW is much better than Wingstop and other similar places. Why? Because they offer a huge range of flavors.
The wings are perfectly fried, but I think they use too much sauce which leaves me feeling a little nauseous. It's good, but I feel like crap after. I usually go for the dry rubs since they're less overwhelming than the sauces.
My only beef with BWW is that they're changing their prices too often. They started charging for ranch and celery, and then raised the prices on those. It's also 65 cent wings now, not 55, and they increased the regular menu prices as well. I already thought it was a little pricey at regular price a year ago. Now it's like not even worth it.
5 good things about buffalo wild wings and 5 bad things associated with those 5 good things.
1) good - tuesday happy hour. 55 cent wings!
2) bad - realizing you spent $55 because you ate 100 wings
3) good - the salt n vinegar wings! Â so tasty. best wing flavor on the menu!
4) bad - you can't stand the sight of anything salty or vinegar-y for a whole week
5) good - you can sign up to be on their mailing list. on the anniversary of you signing up, you get a coupon for 6 free wings!
6) bad - you realize 6 wings isn't enough and you order 94 more wings
7) good - good atmosphere to watch a game!
8) bad - you wanna punch everyone who is rooting against your team in the face
9) good - when you sign up for their mailing list, you get a coupon for a free dessert on your birthday!
10) bad - you telling yourself you need to go on a diet soon after eating said dessert.
I love BWW. Both the food and the atmosphere at this place keep me coming back time and time again.
Their wings are amazing, and I've tried almost all of their sauces, except for the really, really spicy ones (honestly, I'm too afraid). I think my favorite sauce overall is the Asian Zing, but if you're looking for something milder, the Garlic Parmesan is also delicious. I could seriously eat their traditional wings all day. And while you're thinking about ordering food, don't forget to snag a basket of their beer-battered onion rings. They're amazing, damn-near life-changing.
This place is awesome if you love sports and don't mind a lot of noise, especially during basketball and football games. Probably not the best place for a quiet family meal on the weekends, since I've seen patrons here get a little worked up (shouting, screaming, jumping around etc.) when their team is playing. Unless of course, you would like to expose your children to grown men crying and drowning their sorrows in buffalo sauce when their team isn't doing so well.
If you haven't already experienced a meal/drinks/game combo at BWW, you're missing out.
Wow, those were some bad wings.
We ordered take out from here. Â We wanted something pretty easy so we ordered a bunch of wings. Â We decided on 50 wings because it was a pretty good deal and we could always eat some and finish the rest the next day. Â My wife called in the order.
The order was ready when my wife arrived. Â She said the workers were courteous. Â She got the wings home, and we sat down to eat.
We ordered mild, medium, and blazin boneless wings.
I did not try the mild. Â I figured I would leave those for my boys.
The medium had decent spice but they were super, super salty. Â They were also really heavily breaded.
The blazin were hot but they had a really odd taste that I could not place. Â It was almost fruity before the spice kicked in. Â Maybe that is because of the type of pepper they use. Â The blazin were also very, very salty. Â
I ate a few and could not go on. Â I will not eat them the next day either. Â I will not eat them here or there. Â I will not eat them anywhere!
