When they first opened, it was nice coming here, but any time I went back it was like service kept declining. One time I had to wait 10 mins for the hostess just to sit down in a mostly empty restaurant. Food is ok at best.

This place gave me food poisoning; I contracted the stomach virus and ended up in the urgent care 3 days later.

Before work, I went to eat lunch because it is located right by the Starbucks where I study. On that day I got the lunch special which was like a basket of 8 wings, fries and celery. I did not notice anything wrong with my food so I ate it as normal. My food seemed fresh and came out hot. The flavor did not seem off. I mean the chicken was decent as any other time. I took my left overs to go (this part is important).

When I took my schedule "lunch" break at work around 3pm, I decided to take a nap because I was having food coma from my 12 o'clock. When I woke up, I went to my locker and the chicken in my locker smelled so bad, I almost puked. I mean I left it out in AC conditions for only a few hours, no way could it have gone bad. So I really didn't think much about it and I tossed it. In hindsight, the reason why I didn't notice that I was eating bad chicken: hot food masks the smell.

At 4 o'clock I started to run a fever. I had to go home early. I threw up at around 10pm that night. I just emptied out everything. Then, for the next 2 days, I started to have explosive diarrhea, which would not stop. I could not keep anything down. I ended up in urgent care and they concluded I had a stomach virus/food poisoning.

The only thing I ate that day was BWW. This location sucks.

Wings were good and hot. Manager and servers not. Corporate owned BBW so they were very strict on alcohol service. Everyone was carded (over age 40 individuals) and the manager had to come by and make sure we were okay to have third drink within two hours. Service was poor at best. No attention to detail much less a smile or greeting. If i didn't like wings so much I would never go back. Have never eaten anything else on menu beside wings. Come to think of it, I should buy the sauce I like and make my own wings at home.

The worst wings out of all the BW3's, thank god this was a hazing event.

So the new co workers brought me here as a hazing event for the "Blazing" wings. So I get 6 Chipotle, and 6 Blazing.

Blazing wings - No water needed as it was luke warm at best.
    Chipotle Wings - Zero taste!

While the service is decent, the food is just terrible.

After trying the best wings ever at a strip club...yes go figure...best lemon pepper wings!  I never used to like them...but Onyx made me a fan and BW3 WAS keeping up my obsession.

I've been 2x when the service was just ok, not even close to noteworthy but not trashy either.  I always get the 8pc wings, fries, carrots/celery lunch combo for $7.49. The wings were a good size and while I've had a few over cooked, most come out hot & flavorful though.

The 3rd time I ATTEMPTED to dine here, I will NOT be back!  I sat at my table and waited almost 10 minutes with no service.  I stopped someone and they told me my waitress was busy (really? are you serious right now?) but she will take my order.  After another 10 minutes, I get the most awful looking SMALL and DRIED up lemon pepper wings but crispy fries. I took a bite and said I can't eat this!  Told the waitress, she comes back saying they will make me a fresh one.  Almost 15 minutes later, another waitress brings me the same basket of food with now soggy fries.  How do I know it's the same, because the wing I took a bite out of was in the basket!!!!!!

This  half ass, weak sounding mgr came over and offered to make me another batch. I declined, I don't want anything out of that kitchen.  Said he'd put my name on the list for free food when I came back since I informed him my lunch break is almost over.  Declined that as well, stating I would not be back and the only reason I called him over there was to explain why I was not paying for that GARBAGE!

Oh I wish I'd had a picture of those sorry wings to compare to the one I posted the first time I went. But to have the nerve to "claim" you are going to make a fresh batch then send me the same ones...that's just RUDE and DISGUSTING!

    smh just avoid this place

Pretty good spot for tasty wings on Fry Rd.  A bit pricey, but good selection of beer on tap.  Try the corndog bites.  Great place to watch the game(s) because you are pretty much surround by TVs, and the audio is played very clearly and loud on speakers.  They don't take reservations, so if you are tying to watch a big game there, amke sure to arrive early to make sure you get a seat.  I'm a sucker for the Thai Spice and Carribean Jerk seasonings.  My wife love the honey barbeque.

I love coming in here for my wings and beer craving.  The cheese sticks and cheesecake bites were okay. Next time boneless wings and beer thats it.

I'm gonna start by saying I really was looking forward to BW3. This was a goto restaurant while in college and I was really excited about eating here.  My wife and I have Datenight every Friday and we hit a different food spot each time. I was finally able to convince my wife to try this place out after so many years.

We were seated fairly quickly however we were not greeted by a server for about 10 minutes which was odd because several people walked by us and clearly we didnt have any water or anything.

We were finally served our drinks and the young lady that ended up being our waitress apologized for the wait. We ordered our food with no worries.

Now on to the reason why this place gets 1 star. Our food took over 25 minutes to come to our table. Not only was my wings super cold but...wait for it.....

(THERE WAS A BUG INSIDE OF OUR FRIED CHEESE)

My wife is not a wing person so she ordered the sampler plate. She took one bite of the fried cheese and asked me to take a look at something. It was dark inside the restaurant so she wanted to make sure she wasn't tripping. Low and Behold it was a gnat(small fly) baked into the cheese inside.....o_0 #gross

We alerted our waitress and she looked at it and confirmed(because she was dead silent) and took it to the manager.

The funny thing is no matter how our experience is at a restaurant we never get rude or flippant with the server. We have had some pretty bad restaurant experiences but the human side of us will never allow us to talk to the people that serve us food in a manner other than warm and friendly. Now the review I write later for the business on yelp is an entirely different manner :)

What sucks is that i wish the manager would have come to our table personally and apologized. That was never done., they took her meal off our ticket(duh) and that was it but the damage was done

We will probably never be back inside BW3's doors. I am getting grossed out as I am writng this. Someone please ask Channel 13 to find Marvin Zindler's replacement because this was completely out of line.

Blah, generic chain bar with generic chain food that can be found at any location across the country with an interstate running through it.  One star because the company was good (coworkers and associates), one more because they had No Label and Saint Arnold on tap, and the service was actually attentive.  Though not a hard thing when it is a weekday and nobody else is in the place.

TV's in every direction, which I hate.  Dirt tables, incredibly contrived vibe.  No difference at all between this and any other location in the chain.

Gee, let me guess what is on the food menu?  Crappy wings, and the sauces/different variations always taste like artificial flavoring and garlic powder.  The curry tastes like crap, and the mango tastes like fruit syrup extract.  The nachos were one of the biggest, greasiest abominations ever.

The first time I have been to one of these in years, and it has not changed one bit.  I would say avoid at all costs.  Though I think that about all locations.  Why give this place two stars again?

Was cruising around Katy with the Hubby Saturday afternoon after touring some model homes and was starving!  Driving in the bumper to bumper on Fry there were not a lot of non-fast food options, so we were excited to see a Buffalo Wild Wings.  I'd never been, Hubby had been to another one and not impressed, but...did I mention were we starving and really not wanting McD's?  Anyway, we stopped and were pleasantly surprised.  We chose to sit in the bar since the restaurant area seemed a little too loud (families) for us in that moment.  There were very few people in the bar, so we were able to sit in the comfy cushion seats-their wooden bar seats are quite uncomfortable after a while according to Hubby.  Service was prompt and friendly.  We both got sandwiches-Hubby got the pulled pork with hot BBQ sauce and said it was great, I got the jerk chicken and loved it!  Very good flavor with a bit of a kick, and I swear we would have still really liked both even if not starving.  Hubby said this experience changed his previous impression of the chain.

My family and I usually go for Sunday football, we love it.  Ton's of TV', great atmosphere and the waiters/waitress are really friendly and responsive.  Love the wings and the cold beer!

Loved this franchise in Sugarland and was excited when they opened in Katy!  My first visit will be my last.  The take out service help was disorganized, they had to take my order 3 times but never explained the problem, I waited and waited and the manager was no help, she thought a 25 minute wait was okay.  There are plenty of good wings places in Katy, so I won't be missing anything.  I am glad Texas Borders moved down the street to a nice new facility, I'll be visiting them soon!

went to bw3s this past tuesday and it was great! plenty of parking...i got there around 6pm and there was no wait for either the dining room or bar area (if you hate the smell of smoke, go with the dining area)

my friend and i had a good time..the food came out really fast (both the appetizers and the wings) and the service was great (bobby is the best)

Buffalo Wild Wings is the newest addition to the Katy restaurant and bar scene. It is located on the same spot as the old Texas Borders. Thank God they completely leveled the building and started fresh! This past Sunday was my firs visit the the Katy Buffalo Wild Wings. Food was solid, but service was somewhat lacking due to an increased crowd because of the holiday weekend. Once they get better staffing, I think this palce will be ard to beat! One major turn-off for this Buffalo Wild Wings is they do permit smoking in the bar area since it is not within Houston city limits.
