Rattan Pan-Asian Bistro

Coming here for a co-worker's birthday lunch was a good choice. Until it turned into a two-hour lunch of mostly waiting around while the sparsely populated restaurant was sluggishly attended to by the curiously ample waitstaff.  The food was good, and the portions were actually perfectly ideal: plentiful without lulling us into kung pao-coma.

I would return for the food, but perhaps on a Friday-Slide day or more realistically for after-work drinks.

Pros: Delicious.  They have a chocolate lava cake dessert I can't wait to try.  Outdoor seating is nice; romantic. Small plates - Sashimi Tuna Avocado Salad=A+, Good roll combos. Servers are friendly and helpful. House wine A-.

Con: Small plates really are small, and you really want to have way more because they taste so good.

Also, the Tom Ka is excellent, the best in the Corridor!
