Unlike the BW3 in Bridgewater NJ this one gets it right. Â This is where A first learned about BW3 and became hooked ever since. Â Wonder if the folks from NJ could get retrained here? Â Anyway the service is fast, food good and games are on. Â Yes the men's room is a bit yucky but this is a college town and a college bar. Â When in Downtown Morgantown this is the place to be. Â We just felt comfortable here overall and the group of us had a really great time. Â Oh yea important to note that the kitchen is open late. Â We came in after 10 on a Saturday and no problem ordering food, unlike some other Morgantown spots.
A's note::: This was my college place for wings and beer on Tuesdays because they had great specials! LOVE this place :)
standard BW3 food. Wings are on the small side but the sauce is tasty.
Wings, Tall beers, friends, football games on the big screen and the trivia game make this a fun place.
They will need to replace the TVs soon with better flat screens but that can wait I guess.
Sometimes its hard to get a table on busy Saturday afternoons
Also, the men's bathroom can be disgusting. You need to be able to forget what you just saw as soon as you walk out.
Mmmmm....I miss this place. I moved to San Antonio a few years back, and while we have BW3's down here, they just aren't the same. Sure, the food is similar, but it's the atmosphere I miss. I miss walking into it from High Street, and watching a WVU game on the TV. I miss stumbling out onto High Street after a few too many Black and Tans......mmmmm good stuff Morgantown....good stuff!
Review Source:Best sports bar hands down in Morgantown. Where can you get a good beer selection on tap, cheap tasty wings in large quanities, and see just about every game possible? BW3s is where. I am not a sports fan but there is nothing better than watching the Mountaineers away game on one of their flat screens. The music selection is kool generally your typical college rock fare (DMB, Sublime etc...). The wings and food make this place great. I will drive great distances for good wings. Their "blanzin" is always fun for a dare or two.
