This place is just not good. The variety of wing sauces is the only good thing about this place but otherwise nothing special. The boneless wings never have enough sauce on them and the rest of the food is below average. I don't understand how this place is usually busy with patrons?!
Review Source:As a chain restaurant, it's ok. There's definitely better and definitely worse. They do have a good selection of beers on tap. It seemed like the hot sauce was just hot with no flavor. The service is spotty and it doesn't feel clean in there. BUT they have decent food, not the worst choice in the area.
Review Source:Hmm,
1. Â It smelled like wet trash
2. Â It was dirty
3. Â Looked at the menu and because of #s 1 & 2, I didn't think it was worth the price
4. Â Lied and told the waiter that I had an important phone call and we weren't sure we'd be staying. We didn't. Â We left before they could pour our drinks.
I was disappointed. Â I love wings....LOVE THEM! Â Ugh. Â Don't go to this one. Â I've heard great things about this chain, but....yikes.
Good place to watch a game. It will be packed. The two star vote is for the food. The wings are good but everything else is just ok. They serve their food in paper containers. Makes me feel like I am at a school cafeteria or fair. Everything is fried. Nothing is worth mentioning. Go for drinks and wings but get there early.
Review Source:First, the service was good. We sat at the bar and we were well taken care of. The environment was fine. I had the Black Bean Burger that Doctor Oz recommended. It was very good but the fries are like something you get out of a bag of frozen fries from the grocery store, nothing special. My husband's meal was a different story. He got a dozen of the smallest wings I've ever seen. He didn't get any celery and the blue cheese dressing was horrible tasting. I was shocked to see this tiny stack of meat in a paper container sat in front of him. It wasn't even on a plate. He had to count them to be sure there were a dozen because it sure didn't look like there could possibly be 12. If you name your business after wings shouldn't there be every attempt to make your flagship product incredible? Shouldn't they be fat and juicy with the best sauce you've ever tasted? Well, that is not the case at this facility. My comment as we walked toward the car was "I feel like we got cafeteria quality food for way too much money." Oh, I might add that the beer is quite pricey, even at happy hour. Â Sorry Buffalo Wild Wings, but I just did not leave feeling like i had a good food experience. Thank you, however, to our friendly servers.
Review Source:Eh...
Armed with a craving for wings, I came here with a friend for dinner one night. There was no host or hostess ready to seat us so we waited around the doorway, dawdling for a few minutes before a waitress finally noticed us and took us to a table (deduct one star).
We were seated and handed menus and immediately asked what we wanted to drink. I had trouble opening my menu because it was so sticky! I ended up having to wipe it down with my napkin in order to be able to use it (deduct another star).
I enjoy boneless wings for their convenience, but I prefer wings with the bones so I asked for mango habanero while my friend ordered teriyaki and we got a garlic parmesan to share. It took quite a while for our food to come. The mango habanero was really good - sweet but really spicy, which I enjoyed. I didn't notice until I'd eaten one wing though, that the garlic parmesan was actually an order of spicy garlic (deduct another star). By that time though, I was sort of full so we just let the waitress know she made a mistake, but didn't request a replacement order.
My friend played poker using that game thing where you can play with other patrons and watch your moves made on one of the many televisions in the restaurant. The sheer number of TVs and the game might've been the best part of the experience.
Anyway, I've had better wings - having been spoiled by Wings over Ithaca all throughout college - so I was pretty disappointed.
This place has great beer, wings, and sports. Â Â Those are essential ingredients for a successful sports bar IMHO. Â I see others pointing out the lack of service. Â I will admit, I have never sat at a table. Â This is probably why my rating is so my higher that the rest. Â I'm thinking solid bar, not so solid restaurant.
Review Source:Overall, I think 3 stars is fine for this place. My fiancé loved the TVs in the bathroom, but thought the wings he got were too small. My sandwich was good, but I know I could have gotten something similar at another chain. Our waiter didn't really seem interested in making conversation when I asked him about the different sauces, but he was very prompt in refilling our drinks. The pros and cons balance each other in my opinion, but I didn't really have high expectations for a chain restaurant.
Review Source:Travelers Tip: Â Just Don't Go Here.
I love Buffalo Wings! I do!
And at face value you'd think this would be a fine way to satisfy these needs...
It's not.
It has "wings" in the name! Â They have to at least do that right!
They don't.
But they have dozens of sauces! Â Clearly SOME of them have to be stand out tasty right?
They're not.
This is poor grade for even bar food. Â Save yourself the trip.
I like the wings. I do. The boneless and the bone(ful) wings they offer really are not bad at all. They even have a decent choice of beer for a chain restaurant.
The problem is that they charge you upper tier prices for a chain, while serving your food in paper baskets. Paper.
Paper.
Your food comes in paper, like you're ordering at McDonald's. More so, because they serve most of their food in paper/cardboard, a lot of it ends up on the floor. I've watched our host(ess) kick trash aside so we can sit down at our table.
THEY HAVE TO KICK THE TRASH ASIDE SO YOU CAN SIT DOWN.
WHY AM I GIVING YOU $25-30 A HEAD FOR A RESTAURANT WHERE YOU SERVE "ENTREES" IN PAPER BASKETS, AND YOU SEAT ME BY BRUSHING MOUNTAINS OF TRASH ASIDE WITH YOUR FOOT?
My husband & I were craving good wings. We were driving by & decided to drop in since they MUST have good wings. We were super excited to try them.
There was a wait which we didn't mind. But when they were walking us back to our seat I couldn't stop thinking of how much this place reminds me of a Chucky Cheese. I mean I know they are not alike but they did have some things in common... for instance the smell, it smelled like mildew. The restaurant is carpeted & it just seemed like it needed a good wash. It was SUPER loud in there. There were the expected sports fans watching all the TV screens while they drank but there were also a ton of kids running around. Our waiter was this young guy who didn't even smile once while serving us. We informed him that it was our first time there but I guess he didn't think that warranted a tour of their menu. He didn't explain anything to us. Even when we asked him to suggest a sauce for the wings... we got an "I don't know. They are all good". Yea, very help-full. Unfortunately, the wings were nothing to write home about either. Too "saucy" in my opinion. Nothing special about them. Not worth going back to.
This restaurant seems like a good idea but it just doesn't follow through. It needs a revamp (cleaning, new servers, maybe even new recipes!)
I honestly think a few of these reviews are way too harsh. This is one of my favorite places to eat. Service is decent, not all waiters are as attentive but most are pretty quick to offer you a refill without even asking.
Go on promotional days for an even cheaper meal. Boneless Mondays and Thursday, Wing Wednesdays. you'll only have to pay around 5 bucks for 10 wings. Share a larger order with friends, the more you order the cheaper per person.
The Onion rings are an awesome side and are of a large size. Real beer batter. They don't have just wings, there are burgers, nachos, ribs, and a whole lot more. Talk about variety, and it's all great!
It's all about timing with your experience, go in early at dinner times or for lunch. Sports events will no doubt be over crowded and service will suffer. Every time I've gone in no matter what day is usually far from busy.
I love the selection of sauces, my favorites that I recommend are spicy garlic and garlic Parmesan. You can have a different sauce for every six wings. A little savory, a little spicy is always a good mix so you don't burn out on spice.
The wings and boneless are both big and meaty and taste great. You usually get your wings in a matter of minutes.
There's a kids menu and I've seen lots of families here too. With variety, cheap prices and good tasting food you can't go wrong.
this is a good place to go to relax, eat some food, and watch some tv. Â you can choose to wait for the hostess to be seated in the restaurant area or seat yourself at the bar. Â i waited to be seated both times i have been here - there usually isn't someone at the hostess stand, but it doesn't take too long for someone to come up.
the atmosphere loud and dim, not the spot for conversation, just come here to watch tv and eat. Â food and requests for things do not come out too fast. Â but i like the food. Â their wings are tasty and you get your choice of sauce plus dip. Â their chicken tenders were crispy and flavorful even without sauce. Â their ribs were decent, nothing to rave about. Â and their pulled pork sandwich was also pretty good. Â their fries are nothing special.
Go for the tvs, not for the food or service.
If you're going to BWW for a major sporting event or fight, make sure you show up early or you will be out of luck for finding a seat or getting a table. It gets pretty crazy in there, but can be a lot of fun, depending on the crowd.
There's a hostess stand when you walk in, but I never see anyone standing there waiting to seat me. I always walk in and head straight to the bar to meet my friends without a single BWW employee saying a single word to me. It's not like there isn't twenty employees that I pass on the way to the table that can't say a simple, "Hello!" or "Welcome to Buffalo Wild Wings!"
When I do get to the table, it takes an awful long time for a waitress to realize there is someone new sitting at the table, therefore it takes a long time for me to order. On top of the unusually long wait it already takes to even get your food, we are now looking at 45 minutes to an hour until I even get anything to eat. This is absolutely ridiculous for a restaurant of this type.
BWW uses Direct TV as their cable provider and if the weather is bad, then you can count on the tvs cutting out and missing the game. This was the case last night with the Ravens preseason game against the Panthers. As soon as the tvs went out, the restaurant went from full capacity to almost half. We were hopeful that it would come back and waited twenty minutes and caught the last three minutes of the game.
A plus is that BWW offers a lot of different beers on tap. Prices are decent. Lots of tvs are great. Food is mediocre at best and service is slow and not always friendly. I know they get extremely busy during games, but they need to be able to adjust so that all the customers can be accommodated and not lost in the shuffle.
This place sucks. While I can see the appeal of having 82638303 different televisions playing 82638303 different things, it just doesn't work nor is it actually appealing. I had a hard time concentration on one screen as well as the conversation at the table. My food was pretty lack luster, and I got really sick after eating here.
Just avoid it.
UFC 114: Â Rampage Jackson vs. Rashad Evans. Â The lineup for Saturday night was already set except one thing: Â where should I watch the event? Â A friend of mines decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the event. Â This was my first time coming here, so I did not know what to expect.
For an event like this, it was surely packed. Â After around 8:30 pm, there were no tables at all to sit. Â This tells me that when there are big events, make sure to get there early. Â
I ordered a Bud Light, which came to $3.50. Â I also ordered 12 hot buffalo wings for $9.99. Â The wings were pretty good, so I can't complain with the food. Â I made sure to grab a couple of wet naps for my greasy hands.
The downfall of my experience with Buffalo Wild Wings has to be the waiter and the quickness of the service. Â I'll talk about the service aspect first: it shouldn't take nearly 45 minutes to bring out food once we order it. Â Keep in mind, my group ordered food BEFORE it became extremely busy. Â As far as the waiter, he was OK. Â There were times where it was difficult to get his attention. Â I will say that for the most part, the waiter made sure that our group had what we requested.
Something that I did not expect was the amount of TVs in the bathrooms. Â A TV above the urinal? Â Niceeeeee. Â I didn't miss any of the action going on.
In closing, my experience at Buffalo Wild Wings was decent. Â I would go back to experience the different wing flavors (20+ in total). Â Other than Rampage Jackson losing, there weren't any significant negative aspects of the restaurant.
Its called Buffalo Wild Wings. You should probably order buffalo wings, and call it a day. And in my 2 experiences there, I would say this is mostly accurate with the exception that appetizers are also ok to order.
We had nachos, queso dip, southwest fried chicken thingies (can't remember the name), and mini corn dog appetizers. All were pretty darn good, with the best being the nachos, especially if you are a queso fan.
There is a large variety of sauce choices and I think we may have had 8 different ones. They were all pretty good, my favorites being the honey bbq, mango habanero, garlic, and hot. The blazin (hottest) were hot, but it wasn't a saucy hot. It was more likes a spicy hot (like a seasoning). The wing was actually more of a dry wing, with the kick kinda of creeping on up you. My lips were tingling long after I ate the wings. Be careful if you eat a bunch back to back.
We drove 30 minutes to eat here (a few in the group had never been), and the concensus was it was good, but not worth a frequent 30 minute ride. One friend swears by "BW3" and even purchases their sauces for making wings at home. I thought they were better then average but nothing to go crazy over.
Certainly worth a trip on the nights/days when they have specials. Give them a call to find out when they have specials. The first time I went was $0.40 boneless wings and I think it was a Thursday.
3.5 stars. They really need to make a 1/2 star function on Yelp. I find myself in between stars all of the time. This place is pretty simple. It is called Buffalo Wild Wings. If you go there and order wings you will probably be happy. If you go there and order something else you will probably be unhappy. Its pretty simple.
There are 17 wing sauces that you can choose from. I've had about 12. The only one i didn't like so far was the Italian Parmesan. It was a strange sauce for a wing. My favorite is the Mango Habanero. They are pretty spicy, so be careful how many you order. I recommend a half order of them and a half order of something else.
The place gets very crowded on weekend nights or for games. Almost empty at lunch time. The bar is nice. Has a lot of TV's. A lot of beers on tap. It's your typical bar/wing joint.
I guess if you enjoy watching 15 different televisions and having to yell across the table to speak with your friends during dinner, BWW is probably the place for you. If you find pasty white lettuce in your salads delicious and a complete lack of attention to detail concerning your order charming, you'll also like BWW. If you don't mind reminding your waitress that, yes, you actually do want hot buffalo sauce on your buffalo wings, well...you get the point.
All I wanted were some wings...and I got all this!
A friend of ours won some football package for opening Ravens game last night were she got a limo ride for her and 5 others plus, special seat (leather lazy boy) and $135 food credit. Â She said the wings were great. Â So we tried it.
Today was Wings Tuesday for 40 cents each. Â They also had great lunch deals that were 6-8 bucks that included the drink.
I got the lunch deal Buffalitos- which is served on a soft taco shell and has chicken with sauce of my choice (I had mild but it had kick to it) and different cheeses, lettuce, salsa and your regular taco toppings. Â Instead of the tortilla chips with salsa I got the wedges which were yummy!
Hubby had the the lunch deal that was boneless wings withe mild sauce and the chips (which arent your normal chips they are these round french fries).
We got some wings since they were 40 cents- we got 6 Spicy Garlic and 6 Asian Zing- I loved them both but my favorite was the Asian Zing.
We WILL be going back- they had a lot of other things on the menu that sound great!!!!
