The family has been on a Buffalo Wild Wing kick lately. We usually visit the Garland BWW but decided to stop here since we were in the area. The customer service here is better than the Garland location. Our waiter was so friendly. The one negative thing about our visit...in order to pick up the wifi, you must go near the restrooms. Hopefully they'll change this soon.
Review Source:We had the best service for lunch at this BWW! My husband and I had our 8 month old with us and the staff went out of their way to keep him entertained. They set up the games for him to play, read his book to him and made funny faces every time they walked by. It was amazing. We went through a meal without any meltdowns because of them.
Our food was very good. Their spicy garlic is the best! We had the potato wedges, wings and some chicken fingers. Everything was served as ordered and did not have a single issue.
Between the friendly staff, great service and good food, I can say we will be back. Many times!
First timer! I usually make my own but decided to try this place. I am happy I did! I tried 3 flavors of the traditional. For me if its not bone in than its a nugget! First off the place is well set up with lots of TVs for that sports fan, however I was there for the wings and boy was it a treat. I had the Buffalo, Spicy Garlic, and honey bar b que. the honey bar b que was way too mild for me but had a great flavor.
The service was spectacular and I will definitely visit this location again.
Should only come here on Tuesdays for their wing special (50 cent wings) and $3 domestic/$4 import drafts. Avoid getting the appetizers cause their portions suck, especially on the fried mushrooms.
Their wings are decent- I would recommend getting the Mango Habanero, Honey BBQ, and Garlic Parmesan.
Going to this restaurant today for the very first time to watch a little football was a big mistake. The two hostesses acted rude and were not friendly in the least bit. We asked how long the wait was and they told us how many people were in front of us, not the time. Without knowing whether or not people would stay for the game and how long we would have to wait to get seated we asked how long the wait time would be. The hostesses rudely repeated the same thing about how many people were in front us of - like we didn't hear her the first time. Someone walked up behind us and the girl taking the names put his name on the list, so even if we did want our name on the waiting list, we were now down one more. More training in hospitality for the face of your restaurant managers. Completely disappointed and gladly went over to Boston's instead. We will not be enjoying ANY meals with the restaurant until they learn how to treat people.
Review Source:Fun and casual, good food-not bad.
Other than the fact that its usually so loud I can't hear the waiters, Buffalo wild wings is great. Â The food is all pretty delicious and not badly priced. Â I would pick these wings for my get together over Wing Stop every time if I had one close to my house. Â I love to watch sports and I like that it isn't always just the local teams on the screens, you can keep up with everybody. Â I usually visit the plano location off of Central and my jack and coke is always perfect.
Boneless wings are hit or miss, I've had good ones and dry ones.
Burgers are satisfactory, they taste better after a little alcohol, the entire menu is basically bar food and it's alright. There is heavy emphasis on the wing sauces. The french fries lack flavor and this place does not have Heinz ketchup it's some strange house brand.
I'm sure this place is a great place to watch games and drink but for dining with toddler/baby it's only alright. With Chili's next door, you can get a better variety.
I've been here three times but none of my visits were outstanding. Service was sufficient although I don't base my reviews on service.
Some friends and I went up to Cinemark Legacy to catch a showing of Cowboys and Aliens last night (yes, I know...), but we wanted dinner first.
And my friend K had been dreaming of chicken wings all day. So she very quickly suggested BWW and was the first one here to get us a table. She said that the hostess seemed a little nervous, almost like it was her first day on the job or her first shift on a busy weekend.
When I got there, about 5 minutes after K got a table, there were already 4 waters at our places. Hurray!
Our waitress was attentive without being clingy, and stopped by after each person got there to see if we wanted anything other than water.
K got the wings she'd been drooling over all day, as well as an order of chips and queso. We all shared the chips and queso (except R, who despite her cheese-loving tendencies isn't a chips/queso kind of person) and they were delicious as usual. Seriously, get them. They put chili in the queso, but it's not overwhelming. The chips aren't overly salted, and they're happy to bring more if you need them.
Me? I was trying to be good. I accidentally shoved some donuts into my face that morning and opted for a salad. I just got the plain Grilled Chicken Salad with the Balsamic dressing on the side. Mercifully, it wasn't a plate of iceberg lettuce- which I almost expected at a wing place. The dressing wasn't really a balsamic vinaigrette... it was more of your standard low-fat Italian type of dressing, but it was passable. The chicken was chopped up on to little pieces, and shredded cheese was put on top of that, which was kind of unfortunate because the chicken melted the cheese a bit. The tomatoes were red in color, but were clearly under ripe and very crunchy. Overall, it was a passable salad for a wing place, but at over $7, it was a disappointing salad in general.
Service was good, K enjoyed her wings a bit too much (had we all not been there, I could totally see her face covered in wing sauce out of pure enjoyment), R enjoyed her cheese fries though left the basket 1/4 full, and S shared wings with K.
The receipts also had a "Do this survey and get 6 free wings!" thing on the bottom, so K did that survey on her iPhone before we even left the restaurant. She's already planning her next outing for wings.
Will I be back? If I happen to be in this area again, sure... but I'll either not order a salad or be prepared to pay $7+ for a mediocre salad with chicken, or $6+ to get the exact same salad, sans chicken.
This is a fun place to go every once in a while for wings and drinks with friends, especially on the nights like boneless thursdays where boneless wings are 50 cents a piece, or if you have a coupon.
The wing sauces are very vinegary/tangy, but they're satisfyingly saucy and crunchy. Â The potato wedges are nice as a side. Â They offer hard ciders as well as beer, and they recently started featuring a drink that mixes Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea Vodka with Lemonade, and it's aces - less strong than I make em of course. Â ;)
This is nowhere near my top ten places to eat in the metroplex, but it's a solid joint and I like going here occasionally on the weeknights when it's less crowded.
Love Chicken Wings and I am hard to please with getting them right. First time I went in a different location for lunch and I liked it. So I dragged my family out to this location 2 weeks ago. We were happy. It was on a Tuesday and packed ... because of their Tuesday special, so stuff usually comes out fresh and hot.
Went again Friday night and I was amazed how empty it was... but ... we were early. So I thought: Great, not so crowded ... should be good, before the masses roll in on a Friday. Boy, was I wrong.
First of all we get in... nobody in line (yes!), restaurant 2/3 empty (awesome!) and no host in sight (boo). Took us a while until somebody came (double boo). The service was horrible (thumbs down). If the place was packed... ok, I would have understood... but more than half empty??? Please!!!
I love spicy and hot food. Friday both hubby and I had the desert heat style wings again and we both swear that the Desert Heat seasoning covered something else. My hubby is more particular in that department and he swears he tasted some Terryaki or smokey-sweet flavor or something. He is very particular in choosing his food because of health issues and he has to live within a certain diet. So his palate is quite trained these days. I thought I was imagining things, but when he said the same, we were probably right.
Anyway... last but not least... somebody came around and handed out balloons to the kids in the restaurant, which you could count on one hand. Well, everybody got one... except my kid. Not that I'm insisting and it's no big deal to me, but how do you explain to a preschooler that others get one and you don't. Oh well... my kid left the restaurant crying. ... and there went my relaxing Friday evening. Tough times. ;-)
Therefore: customer service = 0 stars this weekend!
This location is not too bad. Â See, I originally started going to a VERY awesome B-Dubs in Houston (which I have reviewed also). Â When I moved to Dallas, I schlepped around town looking for a comparable atmosphere (SKIP the Addison one, by the by...eek). Â This immediately became one of my favorites about 3-4 years ago. Â Of course, this was back when you could smoke at the bar in most restaurants in Plano. Â There's nothing like going to a local bar, having a few draft beers and some cigarettes, along with some wings, with some good friends.
I kinda stopped going though after they outlawed smoking inside. Â And what's totally messed up about Dallas is they'll have a perfectly nice patio RIGHT outside, but because it's not 25 feet away, you can't sit and have a cigarette and a beer on it - you literally have to walk 25 feet away, and smoke in the middle of the parking lot. Â Lame.
BUT, I've since returned. Â I am a big fan of some after work happy hours, and after Zenna (right across the street, I also have a review on them too) got repetitive, we decided to try BW's again. Â The bartender who works between 6-7 on most week nights is kind of a chode. Â He's one of those douchey "I'm too cool for school" guys who the world might be better off without. Â BUT, the wings are great - I recommend skipping the fries (they just don't get how to do fries, it's a shame) and going for some 6 or 12 boneless wings, and trying out the Spicy BBQ or Caribbean Jerk sauce. Â Actually - scratch that, try them all, I don't have anything bad to say about any of them. Â They also have Buzztime Trivia there, but good luck going on a night when anyone else is actually playing. Â For whatever reason, fans of that game do not flock to this location. Â For that, you would definitely want to try The Franchise off Custer and Parker. Â
Overall, I'd say - if you're into sports, draft beers and chicken wings, definitely give it a try if you're ever in the Plano area.
I've been here a few times and the place is just okay. There are quite a few televisions around to watch games but a lot of them in the bar are projections and therefore the quality is poor.
The food is average or below average. It's simply prepared food out of the box and reheated. I doubt much of the food use any fresh ingredients as every time I have been there it seems bland and tasteless. Â I've tried every appetizer on the menu and had multiple entrees.
On a brighter note there is a good selection of draft beers. And the service is generally friendly.
This could wind up being my new favorite place to enjoy NFL, I'm a huge New England fan and I believe, this will be the place for my Sunday sport breaks. My wife and I came for Steelers/Titans last night and had an absolute blast, TV's in every direction and a really good staff, in which I still don't know how the waitress was so attentive with so many tables, but she managed very well. Thursday night was 60cent boneless night topping off a perfect sports evening, unfortunately there was only 2 minutes of really good football. The whole experienced clicked very well, and one more thing Guys, just because she's adorable and wearing short shorts, doesn't give permission for someone to grab anything, treat people with respect no matter where you are and remember that waitress is someones daughter or even mother.
4 stars but with the dumb kid trying to be cool grabbing the waitress butt, I give an extra star for the way she handled it.
