I enjoy the variety of buffalo wild wings and the cold overpriced beer, but that's about it. Â Every time I come to this location I am fully prepared for a "meh" experience. Â The waitstaff is horrendous, the wait from order to table is excessive, and the drinks are overpriced. Â My largest issue is definitely the wait staff, I have NEVER had a server who kept my drinks full, took my order in a timely matter, brought the check on time, or checked back 2 min after we received our food to see if we needed anything (I've waited tables and these are the BASICS). Â It's basically a waiting game and as the customer you will lose. Â On a personal note I know that not all servers are ignorant, but my last one was. Â My change on a $14+ check was suppose to be $5. 94, but Cristina decided to bring me back one $5 bill. Â I'm not sure if she can't count or was just setting me up to leave her the $5 plus the .94 that she conveniently decided to keep. Â Either way she needs to figure her shit out. Â I continue to visit this location, because I love the mango habanero wings and it's less than a mile from home. Â So I guess my words of wisdom are that this place is tolerable if you're really in the mood for wings and Wingstop doesn't tickle your fancy.
Review Source:Food is, on the whole, satisfying. Â Wish they would bring back the ribs on their menu. Â Tuesday 60cent wings is what brings me in weekly, along with the video poker and jukebox.
Service can honestly be a crap-shoot, thus earning them a 4-star rating rather than 5-stars. Â Some nights, service is spot on. Â Other nights, the kitchen staff screws the waitstaff one way or another. Â Thankfully, the managers have always been accommodating on shortcomings.
Absolutely not returning here. Arrived at lunch time, not very busy. Was being served by Paola who seem to have better things to do then serve my table. She took order and someone else delivered food with one wrong order. Paola returned 20 mins later to say "they are making it now" Drinks sat on table empty for 8 mins and were not refilled until asked for. Manager never visited table. Not likely I will return here or recommend to anyone.
Review Source:People rave about this place. I don't see the reason why. Â Wings are ok to me. Â I am the type of person that rather eat homemade wings (cuz they're the best). Â Oh well. Â We also got the sliced steak sliders----very dry and bland. Â
Service was pretty bad. Â Our waitress left us for awhile. She was waiting for the bartender to make our drinks. Â Shouldn't you take our order while you're waiting???! Â We had to flag down another server to go get her. Â Our drinks were empty and had to be told to be refilled. Â She did try her best to be friendly, but I think she knew we were disappointed with the service. Â We tipped her well anyways. Â Blah.
I was so surprised at how horrible of a time we had here!! We chose bar seating because we were told the wait was over 30mins if not.
We got fried pickles which were a bit soggy and to be honest they were the worst fried pickles I've had anywhere. It was our first time eating here so we didn't know better I guess.
Then we ordered the Medium, Lemon Pepper, Honey BBQ and Blazin'. I have had better wings at cheaper places on top of the fact we waited nearly an hour before we got our wings. I wasn't even that hungry but I don't se why it took them that long just for 24wings, that
Weren't even amazing anyway. The lemon pepper wings were so dry and I don't mean the outside- I know lemon pepper is a rub not a sauce- but the actual chicken was DRY!! The Medium was the perfect spiciness but the chicken was also very very dry. They were very skimpy with sauce... So much so that we had to order a side of each sauce just to have enough for our half-ass sauced, dry wings.
And if all that wasn't bad enough, my hubby picked up his (full) beer and the bottom of the glass just broke right off. Blue Moon EVERYWHERE. On the wings, on his lap. Luckily our phones weren't on the table!! Now... The beer incident has nothing to do with the rating because it was just a Freak thing that happened and the waitress rushed over immediately with napkins and apologized so much and even offered to replace the wings and beer... But would we really have wanted to wait a long time again for some new wings?! She was so sweet and the manager took $7 off our bill, which was also very nice of them. But sadly, it did not make up for the less than amazing food. Next time I want wings we'll be going to Pluckers or Wing Stop for sure.
So up-front, the service can be a little spotty, depending on how busy the place is. Avoid it on big-game-days and you'll be fine.
In spite of this, the wings are consistently good, and consistency counts. If you want better wings without the Hooters boobs-tax added on, this is your place. My favorite are the bbq and the garlic parm, but the latter may be an acquired taste since they smell a bit like stinky feet.
Oh! Bonus: be on the lookout for what is ostensibly a "wall of fame" near the entrance, but that actually looks like a collection of recently-fed zombies.
One of the worst dinning experiences in a long time. Â 15 min wait at the door was not an issue but when we got to our table, it was still dirty. Â So we waited for them to clean off the table. Â The place was a mess from floor to tables. Â My wife wiped of the table with a baby wipe and there was so much dirt and who knows when they had wiped off the table last. So it took the waiter another couple of minutes to figure out we needed a high chair after my third request. Â Once he finally brought it, it was caked with who knows what. Â Baby wipe after baby wipe was not solving the dirt problems there. Â So we gave up. Â So we are finally seated and it gets worse. Â The music level seems to increase on an already loud environment. Â The waiter messed up our order twice and it took over 30 mins to get the order. Â The wings? Well they suck. Â If you like salt then this is your place. Â We tried six different types and all were salty. Â Bottom line, I will never go to a Buffalo Wild Wings again. Â I am scared with how dirty the dinning room was to think of the kitchen. Â Oh no thank you. Â Child friendly.....nope.
Review Source:Never again. This is our second time trying out BWW and it was 2 times too many. i dont know if it is the location or the food or the service but all three were bad. The server was more interested in flirting with the table next to us then serving. She never even took the menues away or took the extra chair away from the table, (table sat four but the people before us must have added a person at the end.) My traditional wings were cold, not all "flaps" like i asked for and the sauce was old, very old. They were obviously made for another earlier order. My water was never refilled or asked if i wanted a refill. I was asked "ranch or bc" and i said bc and she brought not one but two and charged me for both. My girlfriend's tenders were horrid. Cold, hard, not even sauced 50% and she couldnt eat more than 1 they were so bad. Mystique our server never asked if she wanted a box or if anything was wrong because so much food was left . The manager never came to the table or to any table and just stood there, doing nothing. The water taste like crap, no filter used and the beer didnt taste right either. It was very cold the entire time (i never say that) and their was no light shone on our table or any table.
I will never walk in here again.
Corporate should be horrified they are running their business like this.
My favorite place to go for wings! A lot of the waitresses know me by name, so that alone says how often I come here. I suggest coming here for 50¢ traditional wings Tuesdays and 60¢ boneless Thursdays. The prices on alcohol aren't the cheapest I've seen but it's certainly not as bad as any nightclubs or some of the higher standard bars. I'm almost always here to watch the UFC fights, there is a 5$ cover but it's better than paying for the PPV at my house. Great place to swing by before or after a movie or if you and a group of friends just want to hang out. The only thing stopping me from giving it a full 5 stars is that sometimes you'll get a waitress who just doesn't want to be there or woke up with a stick up her ass, and that can ruin a lot.
Review Source:What can you say... over-priced drinks and average food. I find no reason to hit up BWW unless there is a game going on. In fact I was planning to go randomly but they had a $5 cover to watch the UFC so I skipped out and went next door. I've never seen a cover charged at BWW. If you're looking for a good place for a group of people to get together and be loud you can try here but I have other places nearby I've found to provide better deals and atmosphere.
Review Source:Everytime I come here it's usually because I haven't found a better wing place. I believe that Wingstop & BWW run about neck & neck in flavor town. BWW wins because they have big screen tv and a more inviting sit-down area. The beer selection is ok, they carry the big players and popular craft brews. The servers are mainly women, in fact, I can't remember if I've seen a waiter there. Anyhow, service is usually good, nothing to complain about. They have reasonable lunch specials, portions are average and prices are average.
They get 3 stars because they have NTN, since I won't be competing on Jeopardy anytime soon. Come here, enjoy the wings, cold beer, and a good game. Oh, this one is located in Selma, TX. Which means, for all you smokers out there, you can enjoy a cig still and not be banished to the fiery depths of hell.
First and last time at this place. The hostess sat us down as we sat at the table first thing I notice were a bunch of sugar any all over the table...second we wait at least 15 minutes before the server attended us...she seemed not interested in helping us or maybe she just wanted to be off already. I ordered the tradition wings with hot sauce..ehh the wings were not temperate hot and the flavor was ok...by far wing stop are much better wings..terrible services. Won't be back.
Review Source:Wings are always right on, though it is their signature item. Â Many sauces to choose from, all listed in order of heat. Â You need to be careful here. Â Some days they smother them in sauce and other days they are practically bare. Â Just make a note to your server to ensure everything is covered in sauce and they'll make sure of it for you.
I have to mention a surprisingly tasty yet not so known item on the menu. Â The Big Jack Daddy burger is awesome. Â Grilled burger topped with shredded BBQ pork, onion rings, lettuce, and tomato. Â Despite this places name, this burger is why i come here.
Not impressed with the sports aspect of this sports bar, however. Â There are many TVs all over the place with a few large screens, but none are very clear. Â In this age of HD and they're stll using tube and projection televisions, really? Â
Located next to Live Oak theater, great stop for a bite before your movie. Â Despite the number of TVs, not my favorite place for sports.
I give this place 4 stars because there is plenty of good beer and the wings are meaty and good. For sure, the best wing place I have ever been to.
If your curious how the salads are, go somewhere else. Chances are, a salad here will suck. Get the wings. There are plenty of good sauces to choose from. I haven't had a bad one yet.
Only downside is if you go for lunch. The music is so loud you can barely hear anyone talk at your table. Damn, I sound old.... I don't mind it at night though when there's a game on.
I was not aware they had 50 cent wings on Tuesdays. That meant I could really get my grub on with some delicious wings for little cash to throw away. :)
I'm a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings. I asked for their Mango Lemonade. The first drink wasn't too exciting, but the second was perfect. Their fries aren't the best but I always finish them up.
As for their wings. How do I begin?
If you like spiciness, go for Mango Habanero. Those are the best.
The Hot wings, aren't anything special besides hot. They don't really have an interesting flavor.
The Medium wings, are alright. They have more personality than the Hot wings. I personally like the Mango Habanero and the Mild wings. The Mild wings are really tasty as are the Mango Habanero. Lastly, I tasted the Asian wings they have. Those are almost as good as the Mango Habanero.
So, for something different = Asian
   for something spicy = Mango
for something mild and tasty = Mild
This place is one of my favorite wing stops.
BTW, their mozzarella sticks are yum.
The food is just a-ok, and the prices are a little high for what you get.
We don't go out of our way to go here, we usually just stop by after a movie at the theater next door because it's convenient.
===============
Pros: Â They have PLENTY of TVs on with all the games you could imagine and they even have those remote consoles that let you play poker, blackjack, and trivia against other people in the restaurant. Â
The service is good.
Kid safe - Even though it's technically a sports bar, the clientele seems to be well behaved during daylight hours and even into the early evening hours - not a smoky place either - in fact I don't think they allow smoking indoors - I've never noticed.
===============
Cons: Â Just a bit too pricey and the food is mediocre at best.
===============
The price and food quality is what is holding me back to 2 stars - it's a really fun place to hang out but just not much of a value.
Ok I just came back from my second visit to BWW and as much as I want to really like this place, something just won't let me.
The food is ok. Not the worse I've ever had, but far from the best. I'm also not real crazy about the prices. Not to mention that they charge you for EVERYTHING! I'm talking about the fact that you pay for EVERY cup of ranch or blue cheese dressing as well as celery if you want it. I can understand if you want extra, but not even one complimentary one with your order?!?!
They service is pretty good I must say. She was quick with taking our order as well as with refils. She brought samples of the sauces for my kid to try (he's not a big fan of anything too spicy) and her recomendation was pretty good (potato wedges).
The food came out pretty quick and seemed fresh, but there's just something rather bland about the taste. I can't quite put what I mean into words here, but the wings and fried pickles are kind of boring. The potato wedges are quite good though. Just eat them quick because once they cool down they just seem like mush.
All in all its an ok place. Probably not the best place for kids, but he wanted wings. Hooters was packed and I hate Wing Stop so BWW's was it. The only reason I'm giving it three stars is for the service and speed.
I think I've come here for the last time. Our Service was great but it was also dead. And when it's dead it seems like the food goes to the wayside. Cold, Old, tough food, like they made it and its been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour, you just can't do that with fried food. And EXPENSIVE, outrageously expensive for wings. I'm sorry but $10 for 12 wings is BS. Cold fries and that new dry rub is 50 cents extra if you want to add it to your fries. $2.15 for a tea? No. Just, no. I'll just buy the spicy garlic and parmesan garlic in a bottle from now on and make my own wings at home.
Review Source:The food is lame. The service is bad.
I want to love this place. Such a great idea. Just everything fails in actual execution. Unless you're looking for a place to park and chat/watch the game while your kid plays video games. Then maybe you'll be fine with the crappy food and service. Compromises.
This particular BWW has a funky odor in the bar area, and not in a good way. Â On my last visit our server was fantastic, very personable and checked in on us often for beer refills. Â My wings were also overcooked and dry, bleh. Â The good thing about this chain is that they always have a few decent beers on tap.
Review Source:Watched the embarrassing defeat of the Titans by the Ravens here with my friend which was shown on several big screens there.  My first time at this chain restaurant and most likely not the last time.  I got the honey bbq wings and they were fabulous.  Seriously finger-licking good sauce.  I love looking at the other tables where everyone would be in wing-bliss pigging out on two ginormous baskets of just straight wings.  I had their fruit punch cocktail as well which was sorta weak but tasty.  There's a full bar which allow smoking which is a good thing if you smoke but sorta sucks if you want to  poison your body with fattening wings and alcohol without breathing in carcinogens on top of it all.
Review Source:So, I decided to be different from my mom and little cousin and get a burger instead of wings...
GOOD CHOICE!
It was perfect. Â Char broiled and delicious. Â I was so pleased my mom forced me to give her a sample and two weeks later, she called me and asked me exactly what I'd ordered so that she could get her own!
The wings are very good, but even the HOT is too spicy for me....
I prefer the wings at this place in Florida, but since that's not an option anymore, I'd rather have the BBQ wings at Wing-Stop!
So my husband convienced me to go here with him....with our toddler in tow and I have to admit this place really suprised me. We were quickly seated in the "family" section next to other tables with kids. This section was seperated far enough from the bar...that you didnt feel like you just took your kid out for a night of drinking! They had several video games and huge tv screens highlighting all the games.
Wings come in 6-12-18-24-36-50-100....and any sauce you like....THEY HAVE ABOUT 20 to choose from. Several are VERY VERY Hot....everything from jamacian jerk to spicy garlic to mango with a kick!!! We tried several flavor and they were all really good. Our waitress kept the Modelo's coming....Oh and try the southwest kickers...YUM YUM! This place made me re-think wings....taking things (wings) to a whole new level.
