This place is flippin huge. Â Plenty of room, plenty to eat and drink. Â
We went there the morning after a night of indulgence to cure that which ailed us. Â Not a bad place to do that. Â Bloody mary was adequate and the breakfast burrito was okay. Â Nothing special, nothing that made me say 'I gotta go back there'. Â I like the TV mset-up, the staff was nice, and the place was clean (actually smeleed of mop water which isnt all that great when trying to cure a hangover).
We went to Bully's to watch a football game and I have to say it is a great sports bar. We ordered pitchers of beer so never once worried about running dry. Our server was very nice and attentive, we weren't planning on ordering food because well... it's a bar. While looking at the menu during a commercial we did decide to order a couple appetizers and the server had no problem with our change of mind and brought out our piping hot jalapeno poppers and fried pickles in no time at all. I would definately stop in again if I'm in the neighborhood
Review Source:Order a Sierra Nevada. It was flat, stale and tasteless, so I ask for a replacement Blue Moon. It too, was flat, stale and tasteless, however the orange slice was okay. I proceed to order boneless wings and fries. The wings were good....that is until I bit into a wing with a hair sticking out of it. I inform the server who was very nice and apologetic, but two bad beers and hairy wings? Oh, they still charged me full price!!!
Review Source:While we were in town for Superbowl weekend, we decided to go here with a few friends to watch the UFC fight on a Saturday night. Atmosphere was energetic, food was great and the waiter was so impressive. I mean, usually I hate talking to lady waiters because most that I run into are rude, but ours was so friendly and helpful it just made our night there even funner. I think her name was Amanda. She was so down to earth, joking with us,and for being so busy she was so attentive to us. We ordered off the happy hour menu- everything was great. The food was fresh, and no complaints from us. We were able to enjoy the fight and now I wish we have a Bully's sports bar in San Jose..one day!
Review Source:Love this place for breakfast...not a bad thing to say. The amazing thing is that I usually slather my hash browns with ketchup...not here!! The tastiest hash browns I have ever had. Â Finally went for lunch today. Â The grilled cheese is beyond words. Â Is it crude of me to say I almost needed a cigarette after??!!! Â ;-) Â The tomato soup is to die for! Â I highly recommend The Early Bird....go there...and often!!!
Review Source:I am a huge football fan, so when the games aren't on T.V, I'm forced to go to a sports bar. Â I have been to bullys a few times and the service is always fantastic. The girls continuously come to the table, waiting patiently for my order. Â I usually get either a turkey burger or a veggie burger with a salad. Â It's reasonable, tasty and healthy. Thank you to all the nice young ladies who work so hard serving distracted football fans.
Review Source:This is my favorite Bullys. Â We go for the fights, on super busy saturdays and always have a good experience. Â To be fair, we sit in the same spot with the same waitress, and I'm pretty sure she knows us by now. Â Typical bar food, garlic fries are a must have. Â And the Chicken strips are practically half price during happy hour. Â If you need some bar food, or need a good place to drink and watch the game(s), this is the place to be.
Review Source:This was a wonderful experience. Â I work for a youth basketball organization in Union City, CA, Uptempo Hoops. Â We have a organization approximately 200 people large. Â We are a non profit promoting positive lives through the love of basketball and compete in the AAU. Â UH is unlike many other AAU organizations. Â So we were looking for some local joint to host our organization for dinner. Â I contacted Bully's corporate and they put me in touch with Grant, the Robb Drive Manager. Â Grant went above and beyond for us, making this a wonderful experience.
This was an excellent experience. Â Our party was very large. Â The service was perfect. Â Our server was busy and frequently checked in on us and was professional and polite. Â She did an excellent job. Â The food was out fast and hot. Â I recommend the fish tacos. I hear the burgers are delish and so are the chicken strips for the kids. Â The menu was diverse and reasonable. Â
There is ample parking as it is part of a larger shopping center parking lot. Â You walk into Bully's facing the bar. Â The joint is very open, so you can see the arcade to the left and patio area to the right. Â Most dining tables are located on the right. Â Also to the right is a wall of tv's showing varied sports. Â Behind the bar are individual tv's. Â The place was clean and inviting. Â Tables range in size from small parties to larger groups, but not huge groups. Â Probably 8 at the most to one table unless you combine. Â There were bar height tables and lower bistro size tables as well. Â While we celebrated our travel to Reno as a group, we also celebrated one of our coach's birthdays. Â
What more do you need in a restaurant? Â Atmosphere? Â Check. Â Service? Â Check. Â Food? Â Check? Â Price? Â Kid friendly? Â Clean? Â Check, check and check. Â Really, this place had it all and everyone was happy. Â There was not one complaint.
We hope to have our organization dinner here next year. Â Everyone is already looking forward to it. Â Thank you Bullys.
We recently came here for lunch. Â I think it had been some time since the last time we were at a Bullys but it's pretty standard experience for all their locations.
Service was good, order was taken quickly, food came out quickly. Â The $6 wings & fries were OK. Â Bullys seems to overcook their wings so they get a little dry and aren't great. Â The fish and chips that my wife had were good however, the fish was nice and moist and battered quite well. Â My daughters sliders were mediocre. Â I've discovered that most places that make sliders now just take a regular burger patty and just cut it in 4 pieces. Â The burger was try and lacked any flavor.
Atmosphere kind of blows. Â Because it is just one GIANT room with concrete floors it can be cold and loud since there is nothing to pad the noise. Â Other Bullys are a little bit more warm and inviting than this one. Â
If we're down in this part of town again I'm sure we'd patronize again but I wish they'd step up their food game a little.
So far I've been here nearly 15 minutes and still have not been asked if I want to order anything. It is kind of busy but the delay is due to the waitress being more interested in talking with her friends at the table next to mine than doing her job.
Hopefully this service won't extend to the kitchen as I don't have all night to sit here waiting for my food.
Since our kitchen is still to be unpacked from the move we thought we would take a drive around our new 'hood and find a local spot to eat dinner. Â I haven't been to a Bully's in a long time so seemed like a good place to stop.
I made my own burger, so of course it was a-MOZ-ing! Â Ortega chili, pepper jack cheese, avocado, and grilled mushrooms.
Hubby had pulled pork sandwich and then chose to steal all my buffalo chips instead of eating his over-garlic'd garlic fries.
Mom had a burrito which was desert dry and required a lot of salsa and ranch to make it chewable.
50/50 on the scale, but nothing to turn me away. Â I'll give it another go to try the wings and beer once football starts.
I always enjoy the food and have never had a problem with the food or the prices. The service is not always the greatest. It can take forever to get service or to get the check. We usually ask for the check at least 15-20min before we have to leave. However, the atmosphere is great especially for big sports games. I enjoy coming here with friends but it is best if you are not expecting stellar service or expecting to get in and out quickly.
Review Source:First time at this Bully's location. We were waited on by a trainee who did a great job with us. I had the cobb salad, it was good. My wife and daughter split the tri-tip sandwich and a pesto flat bread. They said tri-tip was good and also enjoyed the flat bread.
I personally enjoy the atmosphere that Bully's provides. We will continue to eat at Bully's when we are in Nevada.
You wanna sell beer?
-Ask me if I want another one before 15 minutes after my glass is empty
You wanna sell food?
-Put a menu in front of me and ask me in a bit if I'm hungry
You wanna see me leave after one beer, and write a scathing review on Yelp?
-Just keep being yourselves
Against my better judgment I went there Saturday late morning to catch up with a friend and have drinks and lunch.
I should not be surprised the service SUCKED.
A grand reminder of why I swore this place off over a year ago.
You would think after/during bankruptcy reorganization that the most minimal of standard practices could be met, But not at Bully's it seems.
The place was damn near empty, you can't argue that the bartender was overworked, well actually it seems that 7 patrons at the bar and 3 tables on the floor  was, in fact, just too much for her to handle. (Gack')
As we got up, actually stood, she looks over and strolls our way
"You guys want another round?"
Left, and had (A lot) of drinks and lunch downtown, spent 50-60 bucks that was sitting at Bully's first.
Hey I got a tip-
When you walk past someone at the bar that has an empty glass,
(And you got empty hands) 5 times, and don't even look towards the outside of the bar (Where the money sits)
then stop to chat up your friends at the other end of the bar, who's glasses are full,..
You are doing something SERIOUSLY fucking wrong.
The only thing Bully's will ever get from me is my scorn.
Hubby & I really wanted to find a nice sports bar to watch Giants clinch their spot at the World Series and UFC fight during our visit to Reno but we didn't want to deal with smoky bars at the casino. We decide to check Bully's out & it was a great choice. We loved the decor, friendly service from both the servers & locals, everything sports fan can want as far as food & drinks and lots of flat screens! At one point it got pretty packed & we we didn't mind sharing our tables with other sports fans. We had an awesome time & will definitely be back for more!!!
Review Source:As much as I want to like this Bully's.. its just so so. Its not bad, and if you're just going in for a drink and to watch a game its a fun place. Overall though, its a 2 star establishment.
For starters, this is probably the nicest Bully's in the area. It still seems new and they have tons of flat screens and what not for watching games. I've been in here for NFL and NCAA tourney games and its a fun time. Happy hour specials are decent too and they always have at least one good beer special going--like tonight's Kona Brewing Co. Lavamen--25 ounces for 5.99. Not bad at all.
Food is where Bully's sputters. Although there are lots of choices, there is nothing that really jumps out as great. I had a burger tonight and my companion had a cheese steak. Our conclusion was that both were missing something--in the case of my burger, that something was flavor. It had none. Wings (hot) were a mixed experience. On the platter, most of the wings were moist, fall off the bone good with just the right amount of sauce. Several, however, were extremely chewy and had no sauce. Weird. Fries were excellent as were the onion straws (both came with my burger--which was kind of overkill).
Service was mixed. Our waitress was quite personable and friendly, our drink and food orders were promptly taken, and our drinks came out right away. Our wings came out right away, but the problem was our main courses came out about a minute later. Since the app was wings we could pick it, it wasn't a big deal, but its still kind of annoying. And after dropping the food off the waitress vanished for the remainder of our meal and never came to check on us until right before she gave us the check. Annoying.
Been going to Bullys for over 15years.  Started at the Sierra Highlands and live by the one on Vista now.  Robin the bartender there is awesome, wish she worked nights.  Always makes sure I have all my little side stuff, ranches, hot wing sause ,etc.  The steak sandwich is very good .  I love the quesdillas  also .  The wings have , as of lately , been small and thin so I haven't  ordered any in a few months.  Just didn't want to pay for something tough.
Review Source:I am a local and I go to Bully's often with my husband and friends. It is a sports bar with sports bar food. I think it's pretty good considering it's a bar. I hate to see people giving bad reviews because of the food, it's mainly get some drinks watch the game, doesn't matter what you wear it is really laid back. The service can be hit and miss, since we are there a lot we usually get great service. Go just don't expect a 5 star meal and you will probably like it and go back often.
Review Source:First off -- realize that this is a "S P O R T S Bar".  With that in mind, I would say that the food is above average for a sports bar.  I have been frequenting Bully's since there was only the Sierra Highlands location(#1).  I have to admit that there are few -- but some-- healthy choices on the menu, but if you look carefully they are there.  I think that the steak sticks and/or chicken stick (there is also a combo with 2 sticks of each) is a good alternative instead of all the fried food.  It also depends on which side item that you order.  Their fries are good, and ordered with fresh veggies, the steak stick platter is a good choice.  I do with that there were  pool tables for alternate entertainment, but I guess you could go back to #1 for that.
Review Source:After three misses at Bully's it's time for a review. Â
I think if you just want to have a beer and some fries and watch a game, you're probably all right, but don't go here if you need dinner.
Food:  I had the sliders which were terrible.  I do not recommend them.  The cheese wasn't even melted.  I"m pretty sure it was a quarter of a slice of american cheese which was placed on top of an overcooked dry  minipatty with was on a dry old mini bun.  It came with a normal helping of ok fries which were topped by one slice of tomato and a piece of lettuce.  I cut that up into quarters and placed it on the burger but it didn't help much.  It was still not better than the PBJ  I could have made at home.
Service:  The wait staff were talking amongst themselves and couldn't really be bothered to pay attention.  It took me a while to get  a menu, but it wasn't busy.  This was at 4pm on a Thursday.  They were hanging out at a table by the service station eating and talking.  Each time I needed something, I had to wait for a while.  Finally, I asked for my check, and she brought it and then left.  When I was ready to pay, I had to go over to the service station where her coworker was telling her a story.  I should have gone to the Tahoe Burger drive through, at least I would have been out of there quicker and with a halfway decent meal. Â
Cost:  Not bad, It was happy hour, so my sliders were $6 and they did comp my to go coke, I guess because it was clear that  I was in a hurry and they were holding me up. Â
The last couple times I was there I swore, never again, but then there I was again. Â I guess third time is the charm.
I am giving them one star for being open late, and one more because I'm being generous today.
This place is ok. The menu is huge so there is a lot to choose from. It's basically a burger/sandwich restaurant and bar. I've stopped going here mostly because A. there are very few "healthy" options on the menu, which is understandable considering it is a bar, and B. They set the thermostat there to like 55 degrees. I end up sitting outside in the 90+ degree weather.
Bring a sweater and socks and you should be fine.
I've been to this Bully's a couple times just because it's the closest bar outside of somersett. Â Usually it's just fine. Â The food is fine, the service is fine, and the ambiance is, how can I put this.......fine. Â Now yesterday our waitress was sooooo ditsy I had to laugh. Â I asked what they had for happy hour specials and she replied (i quote) "there are some, um, beers that probably don't cost as much as usual." Â She did not elaborate on what ones those might be or the cost of said beers. Â Wow, Â these girls must go through rigorous training. Â On a nicer note try the cheese stick twists. Â They are oh so good but oh so bad for you! Â And if you were feeling a little too good about yourself that day, they'll bring you down a peg. Â I do really enjoy coming here during hockey season. Â It's hockey nirvana because of their bazillioin TV's.
Review Source:I was up in the Sierra Highlands doing some work with some Washoe County personnels. After a long and stressful afternoon with them, I came here to grab a quick bite.
The venue is huge and a cabin-like feel with outdoor seatings for smokers or patrons wanted to enjoy the heat.
The ambience have over 20 televisions for your typical sports-fan. Cool memorablias are hung all over the venue including the late Pat Tillman's jersey in a huge picture-frame.

The dining area and bar are also plenty-full with a occupancy of maybe over 200. The bar can hold maybe 30 drinkers with a built-in slot machine on each stool.
A good selection of appetizers for $5.00. I got the Chicken Fries with French Fries. My appetizer is very similiar to chicken-tenders but skinnier and seasoned well.
The Happy-hour drink specials have any tap beer in a 25 oz cold and frosty glass mug for $5.00. I got Sierra Nevada Pale ale and the cold beer is cold enough to get you more brain-freeze than tipsy.
The bartender was very friendly and assisted my needs when needed.
But the manager caught me using my camera to take pictures. And he was being a total jerk and overly protective to his bar/restaurant. Due to recent crimes in the area, he told me using my camera wasn't permitted in the facility. I wanted to compliment him on the good food and good drinks served here. But he just simply was being an ass and didn't accept my positive compliment or anything I said.
Just by the manager's unprofessional outburst and despite the good food and cold beer, they are lucky to get 2-stars
Oh Bully's, I'm so sorry, but I have to do this. I was in town for Christmas and HAD to come here for the wings, because it's a tradition for me. I came here twice. The first time was directly from the airport, about 11:30 pm. The wings were as good as I remembered but my server seemed, um, a little dazed shall we say. No worries, I ate my yummy wings and we were on our way.
THEN, the hubby and I came here a second time for the Chargers game. It wasn't packed, but it was fairly busy. There were three servers on the floor so our server shouldn't have been overwhelmed (the place isn't huge by any means), but apparently she was. Service was SLOW. I ended up going to the soda machine myself to get my husband a glass of water he needed to take some medicine. Every time someone joined out party there was a 10 minute wait to get them a drink order in, and I was the only one to order food but she forgot my side order of fries. And to top it off, my wings were room temperature when they arrived. This was ok for me because I like all my food luke-warm, but really, most people want their food hot. Â Somewhere along the way, we got a new server who I thought would be better, but not really. Service was still slow, and it took FOREVER to get our credit card swiped. I actually ended up taking it to her while she was standing at the computer.
Like I said, I still love the wings here. There are a ton of big screen tv's to watch any game you desire and everything you need in a sports bar. Just don't expect the table service to be that great.
Even though this is a sports bar, the food is much better than you would expect. Â Also, numerous families dine her during the day and there's an area for kids to play. Â Anyway, the wings are good, the pizza is good, and they even have turkey burgers. Â Also, the service at the Robb Dr. once is VASTLY superior and more friendly than the one just a half mile down Mae Anne.
