Butchy's Hot Dogs-Beef-Burgers

Just had lunch with my daughter. Food is good, but not special. I think they are a little pricey for being a dog joint. Dogs were fresh as were the buns. The mozzarella stick were the standard but the sauce was nothing more than cheap ol tomato sauce lacking flavor and texture. The building is spacious and clean. The fellow working on Sunday was very nice as well. All in all, I would have to be very hungry to come back.

Butchy's is a good place to get an Italian Beef sandwich. However, the one warning I have for you is to please stay close to the bathroom after you eat at Butchy's.

y are there no reviews here?  cus its all the way in waukegan? this place is just a good ol neighborhood joint that does it right.  coworker brought me by here for lunch, got myself an italian beef/sausage combo...that thing is heavy and good!  mozzarella and hot peppers on top.  i like the chicago hot peppers thing...
