My first time going there wasn't good nor bad, it was just ok. Came around 1:30am after in laws in Gurnee closed so my friends took me here since they r open till 4am. I'm guessin it was Latino night since that's all I seen. Lol didn't bother me. The only thing that did bother me is that we had security patting me and my friends down....but that's expected in Waukegan I guess lol Also a hefty $15 cover charge....in the burbs? Gimme a break. I might be going back but not sure yet. Really wasn't feeling 8 cop cars in the parking lot just circling as well as security swimming inside....oh also the bartenders don't know how to make drinks....since when is there E&J in a Long Island?!?!?! When my friend asked him for another one he made it the same....go back to bartending school!!!
Review Source:I don't know what's going on with this place, but they used to be SO awesome! My friends and I came here about a month ago, all excited to go country line dancing. We got there and it was "latino night" on a friday... there was no one there except for the bar tenders and the... five? djs? Why there were five, I have no idea... But that was the loudest music I may have ever heard in my life.
We were all really disappointed that we couldn't country line dance that night : (
I miss the old Sundance Saloon...
Wow.
Went out drinking with friends. This place was dead silent [people-wise] between 9-12 on a Saturday night. And of course since we were the only people there, a group of less than ten, they decided to make last call around 11. And yes, as others mentioned, there is NO beer on tap. So NO pitchers. What's worse is when I go to check my bank account the following Monday and see not two, not three, but FOUR charges from the bar! What part of open tab means charge me four times? And boy when you call their number before they're open to complain about said charges, the gal on the voice mail just sounds THRILLED to be there. I got pissed off just listening to half of it and hung up.
I guess $3 is a decent price for PBR during prime bar time, and the free pool was kind of nice, but not nice enough to make up for everything else.
The Moral of the Story:
Save your drinking time and go somewhere with an actual atmosphere and crowd.
