Our first vacation to St Augustine and we ended up at this wonderful place for lunch !!! The place was charming and very clean. My husband and I started off with the appetizer Shrimp Melt - it was very very good and would order again. I had the lunch Shrimp Abaco and asked for parmesan  on the side , the server didnt mind the extra request since the dish didnt come with it.  I enjoyed the history of the building. The staff were pleasant and there for every request. The food we had were very good and felt the price was on target!!!  To the owners Thanks for the great experiences
Review Source:We read all the reviews and I went with a few reviewers selection of the surf and turf. Both my GF and I had the same with some Pinot noir. It was a really great meal! We savored every last bite. I usually eat fast and found myself wanting to slow down.
The hostess and staff were very nice and even though it was freezing outside they had heaters for us while we waited and when we were seated, they took us to the warm upstairs. I recommend this place to everyone.
A+
I am not sure why this restaurant gets such rave reviews here and on Trip Advisor. During our 7 day East Coast driving vacation, this was the worst restaurant (food -wise) that we visited. It was a waste of perfectly good money which is saying a lot since we don't mind spending money on good food. LOL
Maybe the reviews are from the locals or friends. I can't figure it out. We both ordered the OC Whites specialty - Crabby Mahi $20 each. The description sounded wonderful. What they brought was some of the weirdest combination flavors that I have had in a long time. The mahi was overcooked and the crab was served over spaghetti. What a tasteless concoction...actually not tasteless, just an awful taste. When I returned home, I noticed the online menus said Crabby Grouper, maybe it would have been better with the Grouper, but I doubt it. Don't waste your money.
We ordered clam chowder which was I believe a different style than what we were used to, but it was okay. The Banana Cabana drink $7, 2 Crabby Mahis $40, Key lime pie $5, bruschetta $7, tea, $2 small ceaser salad $4. Our total bill was $73.
I gave two stars because the Brucschetta was pretty good and the key lime pie actually great with a perfect blend of tart and sweet. These two things and the nice service kept me from giving this restaurant a one-star rating.
this place was great. I came with my parents and we all had dishes of seafood over pasta - (angel hair, which was light and perfectly complemented the main dish). I ordered the shrimp st. barts - Shrimp sauteed with garlic, shallots, white wine and canadian bacon, simmered in a light asiago cream sauce over the angel hair and it was AMAZING.
we started with the bambimi salad which was also good. waiters were very attentive. has outdoor seating with nice ambiance and tiny christmas lights - would have enjoyed it except not in june (too hot and humid).
