Some friends and I stopped by for a delicious lunch. We enjoyed osso bucco, stuffed portobello mushroom appetizer, soups, scallops with pasta, salad, and a fabulous toasted almond cake with mascarpone filling. Friendly, efficient service, lovely food and mellow music. Highly recommend!
Review Source:Now one of my favorite restaurants in Westerville! AWESOME service and really fresh Italian food, everything seemed homemade with great care and attention. I got the Penne Puttensesca--I've never seen so many olives in  a dish before! I loved it. Full of flavorful tomatoes, olives, capers, onions, and carrots.
I also go the soup of the day-Apple Rutabaga. Yum. Good bread, olive oil on every table, and a really sweet and attentive waitress.
Can't wait to go back!
We stumbled on to Cardone's a few months back after buying our son new soccer cleats around the corner. Â What a wonderful surprise! Â Great Italian food. Â Thought we had finally found a great little Italian restaurant in Westerville. Â
Today -- we tried it again, just my husband and I. Â Food still was great but this time upon entering, at around 6:30pm we were asked if we had a reservation. Â No we didn't but there was 5 empty tables available so.....so they seated us and proceeded to tell us that we would need to eat quickly as they had reservations for 7:30. Â Okay, no problem but a bit rude. Â We ate a delightful dinner. Â When finished the waitress came up to us and said" so no room for dessert right I'll go get your check"! Â So, again rather rude and still with 5 empty tables! Â Hmmmm......guess no matter when we want to go there we need to plan ahead and make a reservation. Â No more let's go to Cardone's at the last minute.
Just another update for a really great restaurant.  Tonight I had the Cardones salad which besides mixed greens also has walnuts, blueberries, rasberries, and a dressing that's delicious!  For my main course I had chicken parmesan which was topped with mozzerela and sauce and served with spaghetti.  And  the bread, it's to die for!  Another great meal.
Review Source:Ugh - I sat here for the longest time trying to figure out what star rating I should give Cardone's. Â My husband and I went there last night to try it out because we had a Prestige card and I wanted pasta. Â He had one of the specials of the night, a delmonico steak with a cheesy pasta side, and I had the Cinghiale Bolognese. Â Our waiter was super nice, but he forgot to fill up my water. Â My husband's steak was good, but he informed me that the pasta sauce tasted like Velveeta. Â My pasta was good, but I'm a little spoiled - I went to school in Little Italy in Chicago, so I didn't think it was FANTASTIC. Â Then when it came time to pay we were informed we could not use the Prestige card because we had ordered a "special." Â WHA? Â We've used that thing quite often - we've NEVER run into this problem. Â And it doesn't say that anywhere on the Prestige book - or in the restaurant.
You see my dilemma??? Â And I hate giving bad reviews, because I know someone was trying. Â Well, we're not going back. Â We know the whole point of the Prestige card is to get new customers in so they can become regulars - and trust me, it's worked on us (Hello Clarmont!!!)... Â but it sure didn't work here.
This is the real deal. Â Excellent Italian Selection cooked by people that seem to know what they're doing.
the location is a little difficult to get to since construction on the Main St bridge is taking forever and the outside of the restaurant could use more identification.

A happy accident that I wandered into this place. Completely unremarkable from the mirrored glass outside (located in a mini strip mall) but absolutely lovely inside. The best meal of my entire week in the Columbus area. Great accommodating service and very fresh food. Bravo and encore!
Review Source:We love Cardone's for several reasons. We actually utilize them for the cheese and fruit trays for our wine tastings at our wine shop and they are always done beautifully!!
The food there is delicious, the staff super nice, and Dan, the owner/chef is great. Our only complaint is that Cardone's isn't closer to our shop in Uptown!! that would be a perfect pairing.
I had a wonderful dinner at Cardone's tonight. Awesome Italian food with a great menu. Easy access location on W. Main St in Westerville just east of Cleveland Ave. Â It is a small space, but it makes it a nice little environment for quiet dinner for two or a social foursome.
It is a family owned business with a knack for hiring a very pleasant and helpful and personable staff. As true with all Italian restaurants they always have Frank Sinatra queued up on the Sirius radio. Â They have a good wine selection. Â The women that I have taken there rave about the tiramisu, not that I would know a good tiramisu being a dude. Â :o)
