Chaba Restaurant

Nice interior job, Jobs well done! This is my second time visiting this restaurant. The food we are ordering is improving. Vive is good and there's live music. Wanted to I did not like is the volume  was too loud. We enjoyed curry rice with the beef and all the dishes. I would gave a five stars for the interior job but I would give 3 stars for the food. that's why I gave 3 stars overall. It's great for couples  who would love to have a romantic dinner.

Whaaa! I really wanted to like this place but it was just OK.

My BF & I shared the coconut shrimp which was tasty but not enough sauce, and the broccoli with peanut sauce, with chicken and shrimp. Besides the fact that it came out room temp we were lucky to find 3 shrimp (good thing we had the app) the peanut sauce was good but for some reason served on the side instead of tossed.

Service was slow, maybe because we came in late...  had to repeat asking for saki, some extra sauce for our shrimp or water and extra cups for our saki as they didn't bring out enough.

Heaven in a bowl: Chaba Boullabaise.  Shrimp, crab, mussels, fish, and squid in a perfectly spiced lemongrass broth that has body.  Delicious.  One of my favorite places to eat in the South Bay!
