The guy who talked about the women here having big watermelons was correct but what was worst was that my friend and I were stunned to see a close to 50 year old woman in a club like outfit (yuck). Of course I would come here on the day their are no day games for baseball, so it was nice to see 20 HD tv's with no sound.

We sat ourselves, and after 6 mins or so the waitress/bartender/woman with identity crisis hands us 3 menu's (lol wtf). I knew I wanted to try the crab cake sliders since I've never seen them anywhere before, my friend got the same as well. In Baltimore they serve crab cake burgers, the size of a double cheeseburger and their not cheap on the crab meat either that was for $13. Here for the same price you get 3 sliders with fries -___________- .

The crab cakes were eh, nothing fantastic they had a sauce on it that overpowered the entire bite. They gave a ton of fries, the meh kinda fries too. Once we were done we waited around for 10 mins until I got up, made eye contact and did hand gesture showing I wanted the bill. I'm sure this place gets crazy packed at night, I'll have to come back for sure to try other dishes.

My favorite bar around. Solid beer selection and great bar food. In my opinion they have the best wings on the island. I personally like to order the wings hot but mild is also a good choice. Definitely order the wings when you go there. Many great meals here like the Schwartz sandwiches or the filet mignon sliders. Tons of tv's here with multiple games on. Can get a little crazy here depending on what games are on but normally it's a decent crowd. Best option around if you want to go to a bar.

I love love love this place.  Best bar food on Long Island and the friendliest staff you could imagine.  Ignore that jackass from NYC who wrote that pompous review.  If you are in the area and want to catch any game go here.  They will always have a table ready and it will be a great time for you and your friends!

We have been there before and it was great pub food.   Made the mistake of going back the night of a Yankee playoff  game.   We were seated  and then greeted by a not so friendly waitress.   We asked for menus and she said the card on the  table is the limited menu available.    We ordered drinks and asked  for wings that were not on the limited menu.   She said the wing special does not start till 8pm and being it was 755pm we could not get the 50 cent wing special.   We then asked her to get our drinks and we will order wings  when she get back.    She was a nightmare waitress and could of easily explained how they operate on big game days.  Needless to say we had to give our food order to the very hard working waitress that was working a nearby table since she apparently forgot about us.   Would not go back.  Plenty of sport bars in the area to watch baseball playoffs and football.

Buried deep within the reviews of Changing Times is a poor review from an NYC resident mainly complaining about us Long Islanders. Funny, I read reviews about places in the city where self indulgent, highfalutin, pompous asses complain about the "Bridge and Tunnel Crowd", but then it seems they take a bridge or tunnel themselves and judge us out here. Little do they want to admit, the only reason they took the bridge or tunnel out here was because they GREW UP out here and no matter how much they want to deny it, they are no better than the people they grew up with or the towns they came from. But that's okay, their self confidence will be restored when they erase the memory of Changing Times from their heads the second they pay $18 for a single drink at Stanton Social, which would have been the approximate cost of an entire meal and a beer at Changing Times.

My review of Changing Times is simple. There's countless TV's here, a relatively balanced crowd from a fan base standpoint (Yankees v Mets games here can get 'exciting'), several decent beers on tap and great pitcher prices, but most importantly, some of the BEST bar food on LI.

Excellent sports bar atmosphere = great wings, great beers, great crowd, and great bartenders.  While in the area for work, I stopped by looking for a cool place to watch Game 5 of the NBA playoffs.  Walked in and I was happily satisfied to see plenty of tv's and plenty of talkative and vibrant patrons.

Shout out to my bartender gal, Cynthia - one of the coolest bartenders I've had a beer and wings with over a basketball game!  Thanks for making my night in Long Island memorable!

Mostly very high reviews posted below but i'm not that thrilled with this place.  minus one star  for overcrowding. I like busy places but it gets insane.. Cant move , takes 20 minutes to get a drink, absolutely over the legal maximum capacity. minus one star for a bartender.. like all of the bartenders except for this young girl  who is rude and condescending.  However the amount of tvs is great. good food. and large draft beer selection

I had to look at the posted pictures to really believe this was the right place due to the erroneous selection of a title. Ale house? More like sports bars that have great unique beers in bottles. Regardless of them trying to be sophisticated, this is the best sports bar other than millers. Don't ask me what colors the walls are because it's impossible to find out due to the fact that nearly every inch of the walls are covered with TV's. Great, great wings and a very exciting and hopping place to watch a game. The clientele differs from families with children, to twenty year old yuppies to adults. Location is kind of disheartening with a relatively big parking lot.  Go around 9 on a weekend night, it gets crowded quick and tables are hard to come by

Been going here for years. Best food, best drink specials. Owners and waitstaff are all great. Try the grilled wings, chili, and mussels. Great place to watch a game with so many big screen tv's.

Best bar in town with lots of tvs and seating.  The $5 burger lunch special cannot be beat and it is really great!  Comes with great fries too.   Definitely go here if you want a beer or some great bar food.

Really good prices on beer and chicken wings during games... The chicken wings are some of the best in the area.. Other food I had was good as well.  I would recommend the place.. Only downside is all the regulars.  If your not one, they will know and remind you....

After trying a few other places to get together for football on Sundays,  Changing Times in East Northport is now our regular place to catch games on Sundays.   Bunch of HD TV's and the Sunday Ticket.  The Manager/Owner Tommy is a gem of a guy.  Very accomodating and courteous and the Waitress' are friendly, flirty and overall nice.  Beer is cheap,  Wings, especially grilled wings, are great.   I also like their Burgers.
If there is a drawback to the place, its the occasional "vulger loudmouth" sports fan.   East Northport isn't the most "color-friendly" place on Long Island (minorities do get a double take from the regulars here and its not just my imagination);  but you can't blame that on the people who own and run the place.  Its just the neighborhood.

Typical Long Island sports bar-ish type of place.  Buuuuuut:

Here's the thing (that sounded a lot like Kathy Griffin (did I just make a Kathy Griffin reference in my review...maybe I am gay like my friends say (second set of parenthetical thoughts!!!))), I go here for lunch once or twice a month.  All the bartenders are chicks, and they all have big boobs.  Odds are they are fake boobs, however I'll leave that up to you, the reader.  Now, if I am anything, I am a man of the people and big, albeit fake breasted women are people too - and I will not discriminate!  The food is a notch above typical pub fare, tons of tv's, average selection of beers on tap, and the above mentioned wait staff gets a + in all the right columns.

great lunch sandwiches, I used to work in the area.  It's always busy at lunchtime but there is plenty of seating.  The roast beef sandwich is awesome!  Do it...

    Sports Bar.

What a huge selection of beer this place has - enough to make you really think about what you want to drink!

Met some of the guys for Monday night football at this place.  The bar is good sized - and manned by some really good bartenders.  There is plenty of room to stand as well- the place gets crowded at game time.

There are tables in the rear and there is a crack squad of waitresses back there taking care of everyone.

The food is way better than what you would expect from a bar- my buddy was crowing about the wings and he was right - they were top notch.

Plenty of TV's around the place to catch all the games from different angles.

Prices were real good and buy backs were plentiful.

    Big parking lot out front.

Best place to watch a game and all the staff is friendly.  Owner is always around to take care of any problems but there never are any except when all those Rangers fans start whooping it up!  You should go if you never been there.

I love this place, I go often with friends and always run into someone from high school. The music isn't too loud that you can't hear who you are talking to. The waitresses are great and the bartenders are even better. They do buy backs often. The food is excellent, I love the buffalo Chicken fingers, The Steak tidbits on garlic bread is the best I ever had, they melt in your mouth. Big portions at a very reasonable price. They must have 30 tvs in here, so you can see from where ever you are standing/sitting. Good mix of people, from preps to harleys, all nice people!

This place is by far the best bar/restaurant in all of East Northport/Northport/Huntington. It is the best place to watch any game(there is literally a HD tv 360 degrees around you anywhere you sit). The food there is excellent, the waitress' are all great, and the envirorment is awesome.
I have no bads things to say about this place. If you want to go to a place to watch a game and relax with friends its the place to go. It never gets too too crowded, and you can always hear yourself speak.
I recommend the chili, buffalo chx tenders, and burgers.
