    charlies is one of the best well-kept secrets in NW.  The food is great, friendly atmosphere and the dj is awesome.  I've never had a bad time at Charlie's, even when it was an impromptu visit.  I went there last month after leaving the War show at Carter Barron and had a ball.  The sisters running the place are extremely nice and very customer-service oriented.  I absolutely love Charlie's.  Not sure why the profile says "no" for dancing because there is a lot of dancing going on in Charlie's.  Check it out!

    Charlies Bar & Grill was a pleasant surprise for breakfast. I ordered the salmon breakfast special with grits, scrambled eggs and toast. The salmon croquette was delicious. The grits were creamy and the eggs scrambled to perfection.
    This restaurant is a jewell in upper Northwest Washington,DC

    Breakfast was crappy.  Some dude was passed out in one of the booths.  The decor seemed new, but kinda lipstick-on-a-pig.  I'll forget about this place soon.

    I had oj and an egg sandwich.  Meh.
