El Caracol Cafe

Primarily, this is a latino pool hall.  If you don't speak Spanish - beware.  The owner speaks English, but the majority of the patrons do not.  There are 3 pool tables that operate on 4 quarters per game.  The patrons are friendly and will work you into their game if you ask.  

No draft beers are available, only cans or bottles.  Karaoke is available some evenings, but only if you know latino songs.  I haven't tried the food, but a basic menu exists.

The best thing going for the place is the price for a game of pool.  I don't know of a better place to practice your game on the cheap.

They have a tiny parking lot - if you can't get into their parking lot, the park at 500 Sligo Ave has plenty of free parking.
