Thoroughly enjoyed drinks at the Sidebar - interesting mixed drink selection, and the truffle popcorn is awesome!!

Sigh.  Another cool place that I can't get in Gaithersburg.

Loud ... service was slow (only one wait staff) ... but HELLS YEAH that burger was yummy! Go out of your way to get up on THAT.

Sidebar is hands down my favorite cocktail place. Recently, they've paired down their craft cocktail menu and have moved the mini kitchen into the main kitchen located in the Jackie's restaurant, but they are still the best. All their cocktails are perfectly crafted and deliciously balanced. I've never met a bad bartender. They are all beyond nice, perfectly attentive and helpful in selecting your cocktail.

For a boozy cocktail, go with the Mucha Hierba. Got a friend who like it on the sweeter side, have them try a Happy Ending. And speaking of happy, Happy Hour is Monday to Friday 5-7 pm.

There's a free pool table on a first come, first serve basis and it gets crowded late night. But this cozy place will soon become your new favorite watering hole as well.
