Checkers

My partner are I love Checkers, and this is a 5 star review primarily because 1) this is, for once, an actual Indoor location, complete with tables and chairs, booths, and plenty of space, 2) it's at a very convienient and easy to get to location, and 3) out of the few times I've been here, I just haven't had any negative experiences in terms of food or service.  The cashiers were actually nice and attentive.  I'd fully endorse this one (and even the outdoor south suburban Dixmoor location) over the other one in the city (55th).

Words can not even begin to describe my level of frustration with this place. My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday night through the drive-through. The line started in the street but we were hoping that they were keeping the line moving fairly well.

This was the case for about 3 or four cars and then all traffic completely stopped. Apparently they royally messed up someone's order, to the point where it took 4-5 people in the window to fix it. After about sitting in the line for about 6 minutes with no movement we wanted to leave.. but guess what.. we couldn't.. with the way that the lot is set up we were completely blocked in. We were in that line for 20 minutes before we could place our order and we decided to simplify our order and just get wings because we didn't want to take the risk of them screwing it up.

I won't be back to this checkers.

I would have loved to give this checkers a 5 star... I mean I was so excited to get me a checkers burger and get back that taste of a fresh fast food burger.  Well I took a couple of bites and put the burger back in the box.  While sitting there eating my food I heard several people say they wouldn't come back for the burger but they would come back for the fully loaded potatoes...they were good but a bit to salty for my taste, but I have to say they came out pipping hot and oozing with cheese and bacon my friend truly appreciated that and said she would most definetely come back for them.  Since I wasn't feeling the burger I also got a 5 pc medium buffalo wings and they were great, I mean if you like a little kick but not to spicy these wings were delicious.  I do wish they gave you one complimentary ranch or blue cheese but hey that's just me.  I mean don't get me wrong they are only .39 cent a cup.  My friend also got the apple pie and she said it was really good she just wished she had ordered closer to us leaving because she could tell it tasted better hot.  The staff was great I mean they even gave me a menu because I couldn't really see until I stepped up to the register.  I mean all and all I would go back I just wouldn't go back for the burger.
