I like Chipotle, I just hate this location:
1) WTF is up with the seating in here?? The perimeter is surrounded by stupid short stools that no one wants to sit at. The high tops are OK but just like the stupid stools they're not kid friendly. Doesn't look too handicap friendly either. Table seating is VERY limited so if you're handicapped or have young children stay away from this place.
2) The lights that hang from the ceiling between the high tops are low enough to where a tall person would hit their head.
3) Shitty service. I waited for a very long time for one of the many employees to stop running around in a panic so they take my order. While I was waiting I watched the cook burn the living shit out of the chicken.
It was complete disorder. Then they didn't even give me a bowl to eat from, they just tossed me a burrito.
Again, I really like Chipotle. I've been to a few of their other locations and always had a good experience but I'll never return to this location.
I've only eaten at two Chiptlés in my life, and at this location only once, but it was maybe the best food I've eaten in two weeks full of restaurant trips with a visiting friend.
I got a burrito bowl (on my sister's advice) with barbacoa, guac and sour cream. From the first bite it was amazing, and every bite was like the first. I rarely have food sing its flavors out at me like that. It couldn't have been more perfect. I'll be back, and often.
I have been to Chipotle restaurants all over the country starting in the Midwest close to their headquarters city back in the 90's and was always impressed. Fast service, friendly, super clean. However, this one is just not at the level of the others. Great food, but you may have to wipe off your own table before sitting down, the trash may be overflowing, and the fountain drinks may or may not be empty of the soda you want and this is even when they aren't busy. I hope they get it together, meanwhile if you have a chance to visit other Chipotle's they will certainly satisfy and I hope this one soon operates at the level of those other restaurants.
Review Source:This place is the best ever... Their staff goes above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. I called 5 minutes before 10pm, and told the gentleman I would be at least 10 minutes--which would put them after closing. He graciously took my order and had the food waiting when I arrived. And he did it all with total positivity and excellence. Definitely recommend for anyone on their way to or from Western Mass, or who lives in the Springfield/Chicopee area. Bravo, guys. You'd make the founder proud!
Review Source:I want to start by saying that Chipotle is one of my favorite chain restaurants around, but I was deeply disappointed by this one. Â I have been to many different locations and this is the first one I have not been served good food (not only once, but twice). Â The manager needs to do something in this location. Â My burritos have been prepared improperly, stale ingredients and dirty interior. Â I am very happy they finally opened the one in Enfield, a much better experience for the area.
Review Source:It's a standard Chipolte. Â Good food, fast service, but a little expensive for what it is. Â This particular location has a fair amount of seating including a bar with stools around the window and some high top tables in the middle of the restaurant. Â There appears to be enough parking for the crowds. Â The location right off Exit 5 of the MassPike is great but if you're headed northbound on Route 33/Memorial Drive you'll need to make a U turn near the Stop & Shop/ BJs/ Starbucks area and then head back southbound. Â
I do think Chipolte is an asset to the area far as fast food goes but there are better burritos to be found elsewhere in the Valley (Bueno Y Sano in Amherst, Noho, and Springfield is my favorite).
