My actual experience this time warranted a 2 on the food, but my prior experience was much better. The ambiance is nice and the wait staff attentive. We went with our neighbors for the early bird special which was good a year ago. Maybe it is food inflation but the offerings were chicken and pasta centric and the were very heavy on the butter to the point of being inedible. I comforted myself with my 1/2 price bottle of Rhone ( they do have a nice wine selection). My friend ordered off the regular menu and had a steak which she much enjoyed. I will not make the same mistake again. Pricey or not it is the regular menu for me.
