Ciao Wood Fired Pizza & Trattoria

We might go back to try the Italian dishes, but the pizza was mediocre. The crust felt pre-formed in a disc. The crust was dry and fairly tasteless. We ordered the Sausage Nathaniel, with fennel sausage. The pizza had very little sausage, with one chunk of sausage per slice, or eight chunks per 14 inch pizza. The table next to us ordered the same pizza with extra sausage.

On the up side, the anisette cookies were very tasty.

Fantastic wood fired pizza.  I walked in to order a pizza to go as I am from out of town.  The place was beautiful and cozy, great for a date night.  Family owned and the staff was so friendly and welcoming.  I would highly recommend.

I am still stuck on the pizza and haven't really tried much of the menu, but friends and family have loved pretty much every dish. Clearly there are some real winners over other items on the menu but nobody has found a loser yet.

As for the pizza, it is still fantastic and the fennel sausage is a complete delight.
