City Barbeque

I thoroughly loved this place!!  It was so good.  We made our way to the counter and told the girl that this was our first time and we would need a minute.  She offered us samples to try!  That was wonderful and so surprising!  She brought out the pulled pork and the brisket.  Both were so good it was hard to choose between the two.  We chose the brisket.

Fries are huge and large enough to share.  Hubby had the greens beans...so good.  I had the potato salad...even better!

This place is so good...highly recommend!!

Ordered take out tonight. The menu was easy to understand and very clear. I thought that the pricing was fair; I did think that the price of the sides was a little high, however once I say how big they (most) were I was pleased.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw. I did not receive the slaw on the sandwich, but was already at home so I didn't get to try any. The pulled pork was amazing. I am pretty picky when it comes to pork sandwiches and this one was truly awesome (even plain). I ordered a side of hush puppies and green beans with bacon. I was so bummed that I only got 4 hush puppies; they were amazing as well but I wish that I had more. The green beans with bacon was average.
My boyfriend got the smoked chicken sandwich. It was great as well. I am glad that they source locally for the chicken. he ordered the fries and baked beans w/ brisket for his two sides. He received a TON of fries ( I was jealous ) and he said that the baked beans were good, too.
For dessert I ordered a peach cobbler. The price was pretty cheap and I received a HUGE serving. The cobbler was good. The side of whipped cream was delicious.

The to go specialist offered me multiples of each sauce because I told her that I had never been there and she gave me explanations of each. I thought that was very considerate. All in all the staff seemed really friendly, eager to help, and happy to be there. They made the atmosphere really inviting.

It was good and I'll be back. I would love to try their other sides and have the pork with cole slaw.
