Outback Steakhouse

My hubs is a steak and potatoes kind of guy. So when he wants to go out someplace nicer than the nearest drive-thru we usually go to a steakhouse. Outback is probably our mutual favorite.

For our appetizer we tried the new spinach and artichoke dip. Damn. Had we been in private we probably would have fought over who got to lick the plate clean. I kind of wish it came with pita bread instead of the bread it was served with, but the dip itself was fantastic.

The steaks are always good. This time we went we both got the Outback Special. His was cooked perfectly and mine was *almost* perfect. Closer to medium well than the medium I ordered. But it was so juicy and flavorful I didn't even care. The broccoli I had for a side was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The potato soup was tasty as well.

As usual, we didn't have room for desert. But that's not really a complaint.

Good food as always. Always get the Prime Rib, potato soup, and mashed potatoes. We usually sit at the bar, so little or no wait, quick service, and no screaming children.

Best Steakhouse ever!! Get walkabout soup, onion!!
