Me and my wife went for a Lunch buffet on 03/09/2013. We reached there at 2:25 pm and Lunch time is till 3:00 pm. On buffet counter few of dishes were empty thus my wife specifically asked the person on the counter (He is the person with a mustache) whether you will refill the dishes or not. Otherwise there was no point in sitting. He said you people sit and he is going to refill it. We started with some starters and other things. In the mean time we reminded him 3 times to refill the dishes. Finally at 2:55 pm my wife again said we are waiting for a particular dish to refill since beginning. That pathetic rude person rudely said its close to 3:00 (closing time) and you are waiting???. When I asked that you should be apologetic  rather than rude then he said in a warning tone that he is hasn't shown his rude side till now.
Review Source:I have to revise my previous review to five stars because i finally made it here for dinner. I ordered dhal tarka and asked them to make it spicy along with an order of roti. Absolutely perfect and they were able to get me in and out of the restaurant quickly in order to make a flight. Also, ive noticed that they switch up their lunch buffet frequently and have added a potato and roasted eggplant dish that is so good that I am shocked it is buffet food.
Review Source:In a sea of chain restaurants on the Southside there are only 3 local places I would recommend. Â This is one of them. Â The Clay Oven is not perfect by an means. Â They struggle with service and take out food is often very heavy on the sauce to meat ratio. Â You have to be specific when ordering over the phone. Â I have never eaten from the buffet but the food off the menu is solid. It is consistently very good and well balanced and some of the best Indian I have had in Indiana.
