City Sports Grille

If you just want a place to go have a cold beer and watch sports, this is a great place.  They have NFL Sunday Ticket. (This bar is inside the Holdiay Bowling Alley)  There is lots of room and the TV's are great.  You won't be able to hear your game though, they only have the volume up on whichever game is on the big screen TV.  If you go to the website, it says "sit in comfortable booths", well, forget that because there are no booths.  I am a huge "wing" person and I will tell you this about their food - it's horrible.  This place has the worst chicken wings I've ever had in my life.  I guess that's why I'm disappointed in this place, it would be a great place to watch the games on Sunday if their wings didn't SUCK.  The bartenders are not that great either.  You often have to wait a long time to get another drink.  I feel with a little more effort on the management's part, this place could be an oasis in Groton.   There is only 1 other place to watch sports right in Groton that has good food.
