Drinks: We ordered only one shot of patron silver tequila at 1 am. It made us both very sick at about 5 am the same night. We were vomiting severely for two days. We were sick for about a week. We believe the liquor was contaminated by fruit fly eggs. We had dinner 7 hours before we went to the club, so we're convinced it was bad liquor that made us ill. This is unacceptable and dangerous. Be very careful what you order to drink at Albee.
Ambiance: The club has a great set up and a happy ambiance. You can take pics of yourself and post them on Facebook using their machine for free. They also have a screen where you can post text messages on the wall. It's main problem is that they continue to play the same music and it gets old. Also there's smoking. The cover charge is low and/or free. We appreciate paying nothing or $5 to get in verses paying $20 for other bricktown clubs. If Albee would change up the music more often yet still keep it mainly hip hop we would go there more often.
I think that club experience all depends on 1) the music and 2) the people you go with.
The people I went with were crazy awesome, but I'm not reviewing them (they would get 5 stars). The music was good at times. My definition of good is music I have mostly heard before and know some of the words to. They played that kind of music 1/3 of the time so I really rocked out then. The rest was some techno-ish stuff and unrecognizable hip hop.
I arrived around 10:30 and it took quite awhile for people to get on the dance floor. The main songs that got people out were line dances which I'm not a huge fan of.
The hookah room is pretty cool. I don't hookah. But I enjoy people who do.
People dressed up from casual to well-dressed suits. But I don't really pay attention that much. Some girl came up to me and screamed in my ear. But that is not the fault of the club (I give that girl two stars. She had nice hair and danced with me). The club itself still gets three stars for the music though.
Oh, and I got in free because I am a lady. I wish more people would dance on the dance floor. I probably will try other clubs next time. It is in a very safe area because it is well lit and right next to many other clubs and a hotel and there are lots of people walking around. But it made me feel like I could have gone by myself and still met people to dance with and have fun. The people there seemed nice. And they gave me club soda for free. YAY.
Went last night alone and its a decent size club that you're not constantly bumping into someone. Great comp coat check. Drinks were good, the building is well ventilated since you can smoke inside. Yet the dance floor never got crowded ALL night. This place tries and is decent for the area. They need more attendees and then they can go up on a star.
Review Source:Great place for dancing! Clean, safe, fun club. Great music, DJ Saad enjoys himself as much as everyone else! Great dance floor, open layout, so no dark corners where scary people lurk. There was a cop parked outside all night. My first hookah experience, so cool! The hookah guy knows is stuff. You can smoke inside, but well ventilated so you don't smell like a bar when you leave. Great drink specials, cheap cover. Nothing bad to say about this club!
Review Source:I went to Albee with some friends a couple weeks ago. I believe it was a  saturday nite. That particular nite there was no cover for military members so my group got in for free. Awesome!! If not the cover was $7. I'm from california where covers start at $15 for shitty venues. so $7 for a nice venue is heaven for me.
there's a complimentary coat check which is awesome bc it was freezing that nite and i had my bulky winter coat on.
the facilities in the club themselves are pretty good. there's a large dance floor in the center of the place with standing tables on the perimeter so u can stand and enjoy ur drinks. there's a hookah lounge in the back but i didnt go back there that nice but i could see that theres couches for u to sit in while you enjoy ur hookah. i plan on testing it out soon as i'm an avid hookah smoker
the DJ was good he was playing the right songs at the right time for a good dance club. Â
the drinks were average price i dont remember how much but when i ordered i wasn't thinking "That much for this??!!"
Here is the reason why i gave only 3 stars... NO ONE WAS THERE! the place was pretty empty other than my group and some others. once this place gets popular it will be worthy of 4-5 stars. when that happens i'll gladly come back and edit my review.
