This bar has been the bar of choice for a while now, being there often enough where they know what i drink when i walk in, and know my name. you cannot beat the price, and everyone there is friendly. if you're looking for a fancy mixed drink this isn't your place, but there's always cold beers and the shots keep flowing.
Review Source:This bar is off the beaten path. My companion and I found this gem while looking for parking for Little Brown Jug and I'm glad I did.
Right when you walk in, some delicious. The store has this mystique of an old candy store that was converted into a bar. The actual bar is sturdy wood with some designs that'll knock your knees if you are not careful.
The bartender was amazing, slanging drinks and keeping up the conversations. She was a bartender that would listen to you as you drain your heart over a gin-n-tonic and next put some yackmo Polack back in his place.
She makes the gin and tonics strong at a moderate price. 3.50 per.
The folks in here are locals; coming in for other patrons birthdays and the like. If you're there long enough, mind your business or have some eye candy with you, they'll buy you a round which ain't that bad- though, it was Hypnotiq, you don't complain.
They have an internet jukebox that'll gouge your wallet if you're not careful.
Fantastic bar. Just keep quiet during Nascar talks.
