Will never go back. The food is mediocre at best. The pasta sauce and soups are greasy....I didn't know it was possible for soup to be greasy. The bread was stale, pasta was overcooked and flavor was bland. The place was empty so we had room but since the restaurant is small I can see if it were busy it would be uncomfortable and noisy. Â I don't know if the service was excellent since we were the only people in the restaurant but the server and hostess were nice so I have no compliants.
Review Source:My husband and I came here for the first time. Â I had been told that it's very good. Â We were surprised my the mediocre food. Â The bread was stale, the "house salad dressing" was horrible. Â Our meals were just average. Â My martini had a $2 up charge for blue cheese stuffed olives, which is a JOKE!! Â All in all the service was good. Â I would not recommend this place and I was very disappointed....
Review Source:This is the 3rd time I've been to family-owned and run, da Baffone. Â Extensive wine list, flavorful authentic and creative menu. Â Excellent, attentive, knowledgable and friendly service - made a huge impact on our dinner. Â They take reservations, which on a Friday, were needed because both the bar (separate room w/ "the game" on TV) and the dining room were packed yet cozy.
Save room for dessert. Â Tiramasu and Creme Brulee were both, fresh, light and flavorful.
Great place if you want to have a conversation and enjoy not just the food and wine, but also the people you are with.
If you want to support a family-owned and run local Italian restaurant that does it right, try da Baffone.
