Coleman's Crystal Lake

I'm composing this as I sit here on a Monday after work. Pbr tall boy in one hand, cell in the other. It's fun. Larger then it looks and has that local dive bar feel. Some "townie" is rambling on. All bars need one, he's fun.

I had a $2 burger. Smaller then I expected but awesome party. I'm impresed.

Lastly, they do have a patio, only three tables but I did not notice it from the front.

I've only been here two times for lunch a few years back. Their hamburgers were very good. Two weeks ago the wife and I stopped there for the Friday fish fry. Nice hearty portion of fish with coleslaw and FF's. Larry, the owner came out and welcomed us as well and made us really feel at home. Wait staff is polite and attentive. We liked this gem so much, we went back this past Friday for the Fish Fry. Just as good as last week!

Wow, talk about sour grapes!  Their distasteful sign in response to the plight of Nick's Pizza is an embarrassment to them and to the town of Crystal Lake.  Community businesses should support each other, not mock a fellow business.  Shameful.
