went here on Xmas as it was the only thing open. ordered a tuna sandwich and the wife got a grilled cheese.  came with chicken soup which was obviously made of soup base. bland. the tuna was not inspired to say the least, nor was the grilled cheese.  the fries were barely blanched and were white and bland.  service was slow although there were  few people there. the decor is wierd, with frosted glass and wooden beams. like a Carnival cruise ship circa 1984. I wont be back.

If I had to describe it in one word that word would be "CHEAP". By cheap I don't mean a good value but cheep as in I just bought a Yugo type of cheap.  I tried the eggs and hash browns and they where edible but not great by any measure so I asked for Tabasco and they gave me a bottle of Tabasco that they refilled with a cheap Louisiana hot sauce instead.  I will never go there again.

This is a relaxed, local, cheap place.  I saw that the reviews of this place were very mixed.  Some reviews were high and some low.  So I decided to check it out and find out for my self.  It was quite on a Sunday morning at 10am.  Take it as a bad sign if you want but I liked how relaxed it was.  A few of the locals came in that everyone is talking about.   I never really know how people know if someone is a "local" but here you can tell.  A few older couples came in and asked for their regular booths.  I love that.  I was talking to my wife about how it would be nice to have our own little place that was "ours"  like this.  If you want a relaxed cheap meal come in and check it out for your self.
