Checked this place out since we were in the area for lunch on Sunday. Â It was about 2:00 PM and the plaza that it's in was completely dead. Â Walked in to find one other table eating. Â As soon as we sat down we all ordered our Thai Iced Tea/Coffee which is always delicious. Â Appetizer round of Crab Rangoons followed of course! Â They were yummy as well.. Now these things are hard to mess up so i'm still waiting for judgment time. Â Now any Thai joint I go to, I need to try their versions of my favorite Thai dish which is the spicy catfish. Â As my plate came out, it looked promising. Â It was a good sized portion and accompanied by a bowl of white rice. Â Yes! Â Thank you Dan Thai for meeting my expectations. Â While not as good as some, definitely worth it for me as it hit the spot. Â Would've liked it to be a little more saucy for it was just a smidge dry for my taste but great nonetheless.
Everyone else I was with seemed pleased as well. Â If we are around the area this will definitely be an option for myself again. Â
The decor, like any smaller That restaurant around. Â Home like feel with some sort of marine life. Â They surprisingly had a small but neat looking salt water aquarium! Â I love salt water fish mainly because I have no time to take care of them but the colors, vewy pwetty!
If you're near, and like Thai food, give it a shot.
This is my go to thai spot. Â Took my boss here; he's a foodie and ranks it as one of the best thai spots also. Â I always get the same thing: Â Drunken noodles/pad kee mao. Â The make it with varying degrees of spiciness. Â
The food is very good. Â Piping hot when it comes out. Â Be forewarned, I like spicy food, but if you ask for Thai spicy, it's friggen spicy! Â I like that they put sugar peas in it. Â The veggies aren't over cooked and still have a crispy snap when you bite into them. Â They give you a decent amount of meat to go with also.
My only complaint was they didn't come around enough to refill water. Â I've been there quite a few times, and once had to call to the back to have someone get our check. Â
Nonetheless, the food keeps me coming back.
Had dinner there tonight and our entrees were very good. The miss was the combination plate for the appetizer. It came with pot stickers, crab Rangoon and egg rolls. The egg rolls were very bland and the pot stickers, well, they were like the frozen kind you find at Trader Joe's. Will pass on that next time around.
I ordered Pad Suwee (sp) with tofu. Yummy!!!!
My hubby ordered cashew chicken and enjoyed his as well.
We will go back!
