We stopped in here after 11pm on a Saturday night about a month ago. Â I had never been to a Papa John's Pizza place before. Â It was an okay experience. Â We ordered some cheesy breadsticks and chicken fingers to go (I KNOW...what were we thinking?!?!) Â Anyhow, the food was prepared in front of us. Â The sole employee running the store was efficient (although I didn't like that he was alone in the store so late at night). Â He was clean and seemed to care about his workplace. Â The food was fresh and tasted okay when we got it home. Â For a late night stop, it was okay and if I am in the area looking for a quick bite, I will probably stop in again.
Review Source:I like this Papa John's. I work with a lot of people that say their too expensive and no better than Pizza Hut, but those people are nuts. Papa John's has a nice fluffy crust, tasty sauce and know what they are doing for the most part.
If I'm only going to spend $10 on a pizza, I don't expect gourmet, homemade pie. It's a chain restaurant, but pretty decent. The only real complaints I have is if you order "double" (name a topping), they don't really do it. It kinda ticks me off, but hey, you can't have everything. I like a lot of meat on my pizza and when I order double sausage and pay for it, I expect to receive it.
They have a lot of coupons in the mail, online and in your weekly mailers. They regularly have specials going on to compete with Pizza Hut and do, so if you don't want all that grease and the tummy ache to go with it, call up these guys!
