Where do I start.... Half the dancers seemed high or lost in space. NO girl even climbed the pole, whirled, twirled, or did tricks. The girls who cleaned the poles & helped collect tips did more on the pole than the damn dancers. If I wanted to see pole grinding I'd watch myself in a mirror. I wanted to see the athleticism and strength from those pole tricks. Out of the 5-6 showgirls last night, 3 where entertaining. Only because they either paid special attention to a patron sitting near the stage or had some sexy dance moves and a pretty face.
Although this may seem like a total rant, I wasn't completely disappointed. I was entertained watching the dancers grab women from the audience and flash their boobs to everyone in the club and i got a kick out of watching the men stare intensely at the dancers and toss money at them. Wouldn't go back unless someone told me they had the time of their life at this place. BUT it would have to b a recent trip. Nothing over 3 weeks ago.
I was planning my birthday party and made a few calls to a few different places. Deja Vu happened to be one of them. A week prior to my birthday (Sunday), I asked them if they'd be able to: A. accommodate a party of 30 people and B. work on us with some type of special pricing package for this party. The person I talked to over the phone assured me that they'd be able to do both. We were to get the $270 package and we'd be able to split the price between our 30 people. I even made it a point to call back, after I saw on the website that the package was for 10 people, and he reassured me that we'd still be able to get the same package.
I called back Wednesday and I got the same answer. We'd just have to come in earlier in the night to reserve our spot. No problem. I felt comfortable with this and broke the pricing down for my guests. Everyone was ecstatic.
So, Saturday night rolls around, and we make our way to Deja Vu. I attempt to reserve our spot, but I'm told that we're not allowed to book the $270 package for 30 people, but for $500 we can work something out. No thanks. I told them I called TWICE eariler in the week, but since I didn't have any names of the people I talked to, those calls pretty much didn't exist (yes, I'll admit not getting any names was my fault).
Luckily another strip club hooked us up and prevented my birthday from being a disaster.
Very fun place. My buddy and I have the same birthday so we went to this club for some fun. 270 bucks for entry and cover charge for up to 10 people, plus they included 200 dollars in dance credits, that's a steal. The decor was nice and clean. All the staff was extremely nice, and the girls were amazing too. The poles are really tall, and some of those girls can do some neat tricks on them. My friends and I are planning another friends birthday there too. Â
If it's your birthday, be ready. The girl's pulled my friend and I up on stage and we got dances from all the girls working and photos. It was a fun night.
