  there's not much choice in the village for drinking pleasure, especially if you'd like to avoid d-bags. i think this location might just be cursed though. let's see, the last place to really make a good go of it here was headliners and that closed in like 1998 or 99. then the failed olympus which was good for ecstasy and getting shot. then i believe the speakeasy was next, i adored this place. let me wax nostalgic for a minute. at the speasy, you could get dollar killians, and 2 dollar black and tans or snake bites from the dopest people behind the bar, with the best local music gracing the stage. i dare say it was the best time in music for the muncie scene. at least in my humble opinion. lots of punk and real shit was played there. anyway, i digress. it was then mo's tavern, crappy, but with an excellent opening back when jared case had his hand in the joint. then as always, myles managed to make it suck. let's hope that doc's on dill can survive and break the curse and try to be cool in the process.
