Dong's China Buffet

The crab rangoon and General Tso's are delicious. Great spread, friendly staff. Need to go at normal lunch/dinner hours for the best stuff.

While this is not the worst buffet I have been to, it is far from being the best. The food selection was limited, especially for vegetarians such as myself. Basically I had the uninspired salad bar and green beans to choose from. I might have had more options but since nothing was labeled I had to sift through dishes looking for meat. My husband (a carnivore) was unimpressed by the quality of the meat, having found gristle in some of it. And to top it off the restaurant itself was not very clean. Altogether a pretty depressing experience.

Best Chinese food in Mooresville... Oh wait, it's the ONLY Chinese food in Mooresville. Regardless, I've been to too many Chinese buffets and they are not all the same. Dong's has a good variety of dishes with lots of veggie options. Good salad bar and lots of desserts. They also have a full menu available. I've liked everything I've tried here. They have some of the best grilled chicken skewers I've ever had and the steamed dumplings are excellent, too.
