Papa Johns

Papa John's definitely has the best take-out pizza in Mooresville, with Papa Murphy's a close second.

Through Papa Rewards, Papa John's gave everyone enrolled in the program a free large one-topping pizza plus a two-liter of any Pepsi product of your choice. I'm appreciative that Papa John's, as a company, puts out these types of incentives knowing full well how much money they're going to lose in sales over the next month. Seriously...find me another pizza joint that does this. I wonder what that professor at Ball State who originally failed John Schnatter on the concept of Papa John's would say if they were still around? (True story. If you're on the Ball State campus and someone doesn't tell you the story of the professor that failed Papa John's, you're probably on a deserted campus.)

With that being said, it's time for my explanation of why I took a star away. I know these pizzas were free, but I would expect them to be up to the same standard as any pizza I'd order and pay for. Our pizza was lacking a little on the cheese side to the point where the toppings actually fell off when everyone grabbed a piece from the box. I have a rule of thumb about pizza: if you can see the sauce through the cheese, there's not enough cheese. That definitely applied here.

As I've said before, Papa John's is our go-to choice for pizza delivery, and this won't stop us from choosing them in the future.
