One of the few korean restaurants near me. Cute spot. Friendly staff. We came in on a Sunday afternoon so it was quiet plus there was a Bears game too (there's a tv on their wall so we could watch the game too!).
I ordered the kalbi - yum.
A friend had the kimchi and porkbelly which was delicious! There's also a nice kick to it. Another friend had kimchi fried rice which she enjoyed.
For some reason, there was a cold draft and it wasn't even from the front door - we think they must have kept the back door in the kitchen open... the draft made my food cold real fast :(
I am sorry to put this review, but the food we ordered just wasn't good. Â We ordered spicy pork and chicken wings. Â Neither of them was up to our expectation. Â Espeically for the spicy pork, we seriously thought that we might be able to cook a better dish ourselves. Â
I had no issues with their service. Â The people I talked to were nice. Â I really hope this place do well, but I personally think there needs to be some improvement with the quality of food. Â I think the price is reasonable.
