Owned by the same owner as Bullitt? Sign me up please! Bullitt is by far my favorite bar in the city: food, music, vibe, etc. I'd surprisingly never been to Dr Teeth before and had been meaning to go for awhile to check it out, so glad that finally happened!
My girlfriends and I came here around 830 pm on a Friday night as we were waiting for our table at another nearby restaurant. We only came here for drinks, so I won't have a lot to comment foodwise, but basically: this place is amazing!
I loved the decor and funky art that was all over the place. It feels verrrryy hipster and 'Mission'. They have cool manikins everywhere that are dressed very interestingly - I took some photos you can see here.
We just got well drinks, but it's a great place to kill time, and I will say that the food at Bullitt is super yummy so I'm sure it's good here too. (Make sure to try the mac n cheese - nomz times 10). I also noticed they have Jameson on tap - so awesome. At Bullitt, it's Makers on Tap.
This is a fun place to go and I can't wait to go back next time I'm having dinner in the Mission! :)
As a bar, it isn't bad. Â As a Sunday morning brunch spot, it is amazing. The tachos (that is tater tot nachos, I know, your mind is blown too, they are FREAKING AMAZING) are to die for, the bottomless mimosas are delicious, and the fact that they have a back patio with corn hole, food, and smoking is great. Â On a sunny day, get their early to make sure you can get room on the patio.
