El Camino Real

This is based strictly on a to go order before a late meeting on a Wednesday evening 1/09 at 6:40pm to be exact.  I was flying solo.

Elected for a vegetarian quesadilla to go - which was a couple bucks more than the chick or beef - but was intrigued.  Cashier promised me 5 minutes.  Took closer to 10 - fine.

My to go sack was properly equipped w/ suitable utensils, a terrible excuse for a napkin, salt/pep, nice sized and securely wrapped bag of fresh chips, salsa and a foil container for my order.

Best veggie quesadilla I've ever had.  Ever.  Think fajita style veg mixture w/ queso enveloped in a warm grilled tortilla.  Frankly, this was the first time I've been back in 5 years because the food had been so-so.

I'll give them another shot, and in the interim if you enjoy a veg entree occasionally - I'd give that item a solid thumbs up.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to since I moved here.  I typically get the chicken chimichangas and they are excellent and stuffed with big chunks of chicken.  The portions are really good too!

Good food, poor service due to inadequate serving staff.  I am sitting here I. A booth with my family and had my older daughter ready to get up to get chips & salsa.  Just ask for second chips and salsa immediately. Staff works hard, but two staff for twenty tables is not working tonight.:(
