Family Table II

Tried this place out  as I heard about it through family. What a disappointment. I ordered a side salad that was OK, had all the toppings you could ask for. The oil and vinegar dressing was good.

I then ordered the Gyro Salad.  The meat was burned, the dressing was subpar, and it was barely edible. The bright points were the eggs and olives on the salad were good. My Dad got the same thing and his looked worse than mine. However, my cousin and bro-in-law each got the Gyro Plate and their meat looked tender, and cooked just right. I asked them how it tasted they both agreed it was very tasty but the pita was toasted too much and caused it to break apart, spilling out half the ingredients of the gyro.

The server was kind, she was also on top of our drink orders. Very pleasant.

I will give this place another try in a few weeks. I don't want to sink it just yet without a 2nd opinion.
