I've been here three times now since they opened, each time better than the last. It took me a while to finally motivate myself to drive up and get a menu - by the time I'm ready for take out I'm usually starving.
I went in with a friend and we ate in - he had a chicken parm sandwich and I went for the turkey delight which is turkey, cheeses, apples, and bacon. Fantastic! The food is served by the hostess on real plates - quite cool. The owner was very friendly and talked us into some great homemade canollis before we left. The bread they use is quite simply out of this world - I think they butter it and toast it but it's just oh so good.
I went for the chicken parm sandwich takeout the next time I went. One of the best I've had. Roasted red peppers, tender chicken, and it's on that fantastic bread. My second takeout trip was for a Cuban sandwich which was great, but not as good as the other two I've had. I think that's more my liking the other ingredients more than the pork on a Cuban, though. The pork really stood out.
I'm giving them five stars because they're by far the best takeout sandwiches available in Cohasset or Scituate. I didn't notice any long wait like the one referenced in the prior review - I think our food came pretty quickly when we ate in and I know I showed up five minutes early for one of my takeout orders and it was ready by the time I had my change.
This place is good - looking forward to trying their breakfast sandwiches. Can someone try one and review it? I like to avoid waking up too early!
