I love this bar!  CJ is such a sweetheart.  I love their beer selection, veggie cheese steak, and the outside seating!

There's something to be said about a bar with a friendly, comfortable atmosphere , especially as a non-regular. No creepy vibes being the only woman sitting at the bar by herself (major bonus). The food was great for what you would expect at your standard sports bar, with vegetarian options beyond fries and sub-par salads (their salads and fries, I should mention, looked fantastic). I went with the Veggie Cheesesteak, which satisfied my bar food craving without making me feel completely guilty (key word, I will admit, is completely). Next time, I will definitely let loose and try one of the burgers with dirty cheese waffle fries. The beer selection is wonderful and the staff was knowledgeable about all their offerings. I will be back, and I will have my male counterpart in tow to share the fun - bring on the NFL Sunday Ticket!

The beer selection here is always wonderful. Lunch or an early dinner at Fatty's is a great idea. Drinks with college buddies can get very pricey, very quickly. The drink specials are lackluster, and I once saw some unpleasant creatures scampering into the kitchen late at night.

Too expensive for young folks, satisfactory for watching the game and eating a full meal.

I really love this bar!  Great place to hang out with friends and family.  Good homey environment.  People are nice, even if you are not a philly's fan (which I'm not).  Try their steak burger.  It's great!!!!  Beer is might tasty as well.  Def come check this spot out.

My wife and I (as our most of our friends) are regulars here, so this isn't related to one specific visit.  As mentioned, Fatty's has a pub atmosphere, with excellent pub food as well as daily specials on most days that are more "entree" oriented.  The food has always been top-notch, and the portions sizes are, well....fatty.

There's a very good rotating list of micro and craft beers, with typically at least 1 or 2 good IPAs on tap.  Recently they've started growing an impressive bottle list with some really nice Belgian beers (at really good bottle prices).

The TVs are abundant and you'll have no problem watching your favorite sporting even here.  They even have a massive outdoor flat screen on their covered patio.

At dinner times, it's also very family / kid friendly and we have no problems taking our 3 year old here for lunch or dinner.

The food is pretty good and the place is comfortable and clean. I have stopped in for lunch a few times and have not been disappointed. The food prices are a little high for a lunch stop but the added benefit of being able to get a beer makes it worth it once in a while.
If your in a hurry there is a little place down the street called Suzzan's that is quicker but, alas, no beer.
I'll be trying Fatty's again on Monday for their all you can eat crab leg special. If it effects my opinion I'll edit this post.
If you like micro brews Fatty's has a nice selection. It's the only place I know that has Golden Monkey Triple. I can't wait to try it on monday.

I wasn't to pleased with Fatty's, our server was rude and open about his dissatisfaction with us asking him things about menu drinks etc. Beer prices are higher than most. Food was okay.

Fatty's is a great local sports bar in Wyndmoor. They have TV's squeezed into every corner place and even stuck a couple outside on the patio just for good measure. Like any good sports bar they have the NFL Sunday ticket. The staff are all die-hard Philly sports fans but they're still accommodating and friendly, as opposed to the Santa Booing, fight starting, retarded asshole Philly fans you can't avoid at most sports bars within spitting distance of the city line. So when this NY boy walks in with my Yankee hat or Giant jersey on to catch the game, I catch a ration of shit and hear the taunts from all of them, but it's all good natured. If you're an out of town fan Fatty's is a great place to go catch the game in an enjoyable fashion.

On top of that Fatty's has a great selection of beers on tap including an ever rotating selection of micro-brews to try out. The prices are pretty reasonable making it a great place to go with the guys and throw back beers.

The food at Fatty's is your standard pub menu but it is all pretty good. I'm especially fond of their cheese fries (especially when they have waffle fries in) and their cheesesteaks are pretty good too. My personal favorite of their sandwiches however is the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak, I have a tendency to get it more often than not and it's excellent.

That leads me to Fatty's wings. In my opinion you just can't call yourself a sports bar and not have good Buffalo Wings. Fatty's doesn't disappoint. The wings at Fatty's are easily the best that I have found in the area. The wings are large and smothered in sauce. The "hot" sauce has a very good balance of flavor & heat which is what really sets them apart. To top it off they know to give a side of rich, chunky bleu cheese and celery.

The last tip I can give about Fatty's Menu is to make sure you check the specials board on the rear wall of the pub. It's a whiteboard right between the kitchen window and the hallway to the bathrooms. See, Fatty's sometimes decides to pretend they're actually a restaurant, trapped in a pub's body. They use that little board to supplement their menu and they do it extremely well.

In conclusion Fatty's is hands down the best Pub in the area and without a doubt my favorite pub around Philly.

Not a bad spot, if this kind of thing is a situation you like to find yourself in.
If you are a Vegetarian this is a spot where you can eat... Vegans = fully out of luck (but if you can eat here, fully enjoy, really good food for a neighborhood bar.)
You can sit at the bar and play those touch screen computer games and this will entertain you before you get too wasted to look at a screen without it being multiple screens.
Pretty good selection of alcohol on the walls.
Good spot to bring your family as well. Friendly atmosphere, good wait staff, and once again, AWESOME FOOD!
This spot is particularly clean for a spot like this, and it comes off as a sports bar... clean sports bar, i think that makes this spot a novelty. If you like a "Cheers"y kind of spot, where everyone knows your name, start hanging in here...
Reason I knocked a point off? Even though the food is good, the menu isn't very extensive (A lot of the options end up feeling like a half portion size of other selections) and like I said... NOTHING Vegan.

We tried Fatty's totally based on Yelp reviews and were not disappointed.  Definitely try Fatty's.

It is what it is. A local yocal pub with average pub food and a typical beer selection; nothing extreme or out of the norm. The service is decent and the staff is usually friendly, depends who you get I guess.
For what they offer the place is a tad pricy, but again if your the only gig in town you can name your own price.
I would give it a five for Wyndmoor and a 2 by any other standard. So I'll meet them half way and say 3. If your looking for a beer selection, continue down willow grove ave and make a left on Germantown rd to Mt.Airy. If you're looking for great food, head down Into Flourtown and look there. However, if you're looking for food, beer, and some games this is probably the best bang for the buck in the area.

This a smallish bar in Wyndmoor. To list their pluses first, they have a lot of TVs and are prolly a good local bar to hang out at and watch the game most nights. Also they have a nice porch with several tables outside.

That said I should have read the other reviews closer but saw that the company info said Glenside and this was my back up selection for the night if the first place fell through. Needless to say the first place was a bust, so I plugged in Glenside and the name of the restaurant into my GPS and off we drove. I should have checked the address when it came up but didn't. After a long long drive and me going "I don't think we are in Kansas anymore Toto" at every turn we ended up in Wyndmoor.

Since there was a local carnival in what I am guessing is the center of town the streets were blocked off and traffic was backed up. After finally making it through and now starving we went inside to get a table. I think due to the carnival they were busier than they have ever been, and so the 3 waiters were exceedingly overwhelmed. It took a while to get seated, then it took a long time for them to get us drinks, the it took even longer for them to come back and take our order. The food came out all at once appetiser with the meal, and then we waited and watched out waitress pass our table about 4-5 times with out even looking in our direction before we finally flagged down one of the other waiters to get the check.

As for the food, it was sub-par even for bar food but the portions are huge. We made the mistake of getting chili fries. The "chili" looked and tasted like someone took a can of tomato paste mixed it with kidney beans and heated said mix up and slopped it on a basket of fries. Yick. The grilled chicken sandwich I got was ok, nothing really good or special. The chicken was on the dry side and trying to put any sauce on grilled chicken after cooking is silly since it will just pour right off, making said sandwich a sloppy mess. The chips that came with it were stale but the pickle slices were crisp.

I love going to Fattys to watch a game. The bar tending staff is great and fellow patrons are friendly. Prices are average on both drinks and food with a slightly above average quality. A nice assorted beer tap is provided for the beer aficionado. They make my most favorite wings around! Long live fatty's.

Fatty's is a nice cozy neighborhood sports bar in Wyndmoor, PA.  If you're not looking for a crazy night out and want to have a drink, it's a great place to set up shop.

First and foremost, there's usually a nice selection of beers on tap (nothing ever beats cheap Yuenglings).  Drinks are affordable as well.  I'm positive that "Jokes (Jack and Cokes)" are only 5.50, which is great.   The menu is decent.  Make sure to order the waffle fries.  Also, get the Cajun chicken sandwich, you won't regret it.  It's just a huge Cajun chicken breast on a bun; simple, straight to the point, and succulent.

Fatty's outside patio makes it look better than it really is and is perfect for conversation on a beautiful spring or summer day.  Eagle's fans, take note that Fatty's is open almost, if not every Sunday during the NFL season.

Fatty's was a good place to go when it initially opened, and it was basically a sister restaurant to McMenamins. Then after the first head chef left, the place went downhill quickly.

Over the past several years, the quality just went away. The mashed potatoes are no longer prepared in-house, the waffle fries became the regular 'blah' steak fries, the quality of the burgers went downhill, the same specials every week, etc. etc.

Recently though, it seems to have a new energy in it. The waffle fries have returned; they've increased their winelist to be more than just the entry-level Woodbridge, and now includes a Clos du Bois, and my favorite, the Fat Bastard Shiraz; and it seems to just have a more upbeat feeling all around. If it wasn't for the changes they've started to make, I'd give it two stars, but it gains an extra star because of the changes. If it improves even more, I will come back and update my review accordingly.

I stopped in here on my way to another restaurant, it looked that good. I got in and scanned the menu. But the only thing I could see was the Fatty Filet. Nothing else would register. So, after I clarified what the waitress the explanation of what Tobacco fries where, I made my order.
    Delicious.
Not sure what else they sell, but the Fatty was spectacular.

Great local sports bar with excellent bar food, great beers on tap, and outside seating for this warm summer weather.  We were actually surprised how comfortable their deck out back was; loaded up with plants and plenty of space between tables.  For beers I would say they had about fifteen or so on tap, the usual suspects but they also had several American craft beers on tap (Magic Hat #9 and Boulder I.P.A. plus others); I think they rotate these so don't expect the same flavor kegs all year long.  Their food was outstanding, some of the best fish n' chips I've had in a while.  Their wings were spot on (and I am a connoisseur) but be warned, the medium wings are perfect if you like heat but don't want to spontaneously combust.  Order hot only if you've got a cast-iron stomach and a huge pair.  Great service and the NFL package as well as plenty of parking on the side in this already quiet neighborhood.

Fatty's was the place we frequented when we first moved to the neighborhood; and the other reviewer is right... it is good for what it is.
The one room bar/dining room is open and warm- with a friendly staff.

Not that I am a connoisseur of hot wings- but theirs are some of the best I have ever had. The cajun chicken salad is also yummy, but some of the other items on their menu lean a bit to the not so yummy side.
Good solid bar food and good solid service give this place a good solid C!

Fatty's is very good for what it is:  A neighborhood sport's bar to watch out of town games.   It's not really my scene but there you go.   Very jocky staff but they're nice at least.

They have some of the best cheesesteaks I've ever had though and a very good pub grub menu.
