been going to the chestnut hill grill for over 10 years. pretty historic place too. for you painting aficionados out there, paul rickert did a series of water painting of the chestnut hill area and used the hotel as a backdrop in one.
get the napa wings, mussels, and go with whatever for the entree. should be happy. my fiance, who has also been going for over 10 years loves their balsamic salad dressing. she tries to get there recipe but they wont give it up. so they sell it to us in a container to take home, lol.
I enjoy the food here, it is not sophisticated but it is well prepared. The seasoning is always mild so you won't be surprised but you might be a little bored. I have always had good service, although the bar is slow so ask for that dinner drink well in advance. Dinner, drinks and dessert will run about a hundred dollars. This is why I come away disappointed. The food is just not that interesting or creative. Go to Campbell's instead.
