I love seafood and I love happy hour so FINS was the perfect afternoon spot to grab a quick bite! Easy enough to find metered parking across the street at 4pm.
Ordered:
- $1 HH Oysters
- Original Oyster shooters
- Shrimp & Crawfish spring rolls
- Fish Tacos
Reviews:
- Oysters were extremely fresh and a great steal for the HH price!
- The oyster shooter is a shot glass with cocktail sauce and an oyster topped off with beer. Sadly I forgot my ID and didn't get to try this but my boyfriend said he could down 10 of these!
- Spring rolls were a disappointment and the only thing we ordered that wasn't on the HH menu. Uninspired and could barely taste any of the seafood.
- Fish tacos came 2 per order and were huge!!! Large portions and had a sweet mango salsa on the side that paired perfectly
If you're in the area, definitely worth checking out FINS. Don't miss the oysters and fish tacos!
My family and I return to FINS every summer at some point during our summer vacation in Rehoboth. Â They are great at accommodating large groups (including children) -- although your full group has to be onsite before they seat you.
I highly recommend the cioppino (get it served over linguini!). Â The serving is HUGE. Â It's enough to share if you and your partner aren't ravenous, but it's also great if you want to take home some leftovers. Â My friend got the baked haddock special (good, but not as healthy as I would hope -- it was served underneath mashed potatoes, cheese, and bacon). Â I got the cioppino, and then we shared our entrees. Â More than enough food. Â Everyone else seemed pleased as well with their selections (fish tacos were given a thumbs up). Â A few people in our group got the mixed drinks, were were very large but didn't seem to have a lot of alcohol in them.
All in all, it's great if you can get there before the dinner rush (aim for 5pm).
PS - the restrooms are in the basement, so if anyone in your group has difficulty walking, this restaurant isn't too helpful in that regard...the seats are also very close together, so it makes wheelchairs difficult.
