The Wharf

We had lunch and really enjoyed our salad.  The shrimp were large and very tasty.  The setting was nice with good water views. While visiting Lewes, a great place to eat.

Just wandering around Lewes on overcast day and happened on this place. Glad we did. Got the steamed clams - very good- and oysters - ditto. My crab melt sandwich and fishermans fried were scrumptious and the po bo my partner had was very tasty. The coleslaw had a touch too much dressing.  Good food at a great value for lunch

We went for the fantastic view and setting of the harbor for drinks on the deck, which last year evolved into dinner.  I was surprised, because when this was the Lighthouse, the food was only OK bar food (not a place you'd WANT to go).  Well in 2012 they must have procured a new chef who did a bang up job, and hopefully will return next season!!  All 6 of us were raving about how delicious the food was.  I honestly cannot remember what we all had,  it was only sandwiches, but they were amazingly fresh, well executed, and each starred it's own unique twist.  A few of us had a side salad, which I recall was very special, ultra-fresh and delicious--a nice touch with some fresh dill.  I cannot wait to return--unfortunately they're closed in the off season it seems (although there's no indication of when they re-open).
