Beachcomber Restaurant and Club

After some outlet shopping on a rainy day, my parents and I wanted to grab a drink and some apps before heading home. We didn't want to go all the way down to our regular happy hour spot on Rehoboth Blvd, and thought we'd check out some place new.

This 1 star is based on walking into Beachcomber yesterday afternoon, asking the hostess if happy hour is only in the bar area, to which she responded, "I don't know, I'm just the hostess." ...OK. "Is your happy hour only drinks, or food as well?" She responded with, "Yeah, I don't know, I'm just the hostess." We looked around and most seats at the bar were occupied, so we figured we'd check it out since we were already there. The hostess sat us at a high top table in the bar area. There was a big chalkboard on the wall that listed their HH specials. Decent drink specials, but the only food HH was 1/2 off the 1st app. Seemed a little odd...would have liked to ask our server if there were more options, but nobody came over, even though plenty of waitstaff passed by our table. So we left.

FYI--Bethany Blues has an extensive food and drink HH menu, that was great!
