Rehoboth Beach Bandstand

This was a first for me. We love to watch the children dance while the band is playing and do this every w/e but sat 8/23/2014 was a disaster.I never saw this before here. first there were a number of children dancing and responsible parents keeping them off the stage and stairs (cement!!!) and safe. Then came 2 little girls who's parents (2 different sets) were oblivious to the danger and complete rudeness to the band- and ruined the evening for us and most around us. they were dancing 2 feet from the band over all the wires with NO responsible parents policing them- yes the parents were there but did not care about the danger to the children and complete rudeness to the band. They were jumping on and off the ledge where the poles are and set an example for all the other children lacking parenting skills- at one point there were 8 children running and jumping around including one little boy who liked to scream at the top of his lungs. Just because a couple of parents were lacking should not set a precedent for others to also allow their children to behave like wild animals. We were all so upset about children in danger most around us just left and finally we did too.
