The service is so good here and so friendly. Â The decor is amazing, and yes, this place is pretty pricey. Â I ordered the lamb lollipops which were cooked nice and rare, but the risotto was undercooked. Â Nobody likes crunchy rice in their risotto. Â Small portions for a big price and the beer is pricey to. Â My friend paid $5 for an O'Douls.
I will give it another shot because I enjoyed the service and the lamb. Â Good place to bring a date. Â I need to try the pizza too.
I used to be a 5 Star fan of this place, but unfortunately they have taken their success for granted and service and quality have slipped dramatically. Their pizzas while good aren't great anymore and their service has seriously fallen off. Â I have noticed a massive turnover of personnel there so I assume something has changed in management. They have gotten our order wrong that last several visits and the service is always slow.
Review Source:Can we just be blunt here? The service stunk.
Today, after being seated, we waited and waited but no server approached us. Â It wasn't busy. Â There was no excuse for this. Â The hostess spotted that we hadn't been approached and asked to fill our drink order. Â She returned with our drinks and still the server had not approached us yet. (Jason Sheetz: are you still the COO? The server's name is Ashley.)
We waited further and I finally began a countdown. We were prepared to leave if the server didn't arrive within the next 2 minutes. Â When she did, she greeted us by asking "Are you the group wanting to order lunch?" She didn't introduce herself or attempt to make a menu selection. Â I am always tempted to call the manager over and ask him: "Give me a good reason why I should tip this server?"
As you'd expect, the wait for our meals was also ridiculously too long. Â When the food arrived, one of my guests asked for mustard. Â The server responded, "We only have Dijon mustard" in a tone that clearly inferred "You don't want it, right?" Â Why didn't she simply and happily say "We have Dijon mustard. Â Let me get it for you." Â And let me point out . . . she never brought the mustard.
Our drinks ran out before our meal ended. Â The server offered refills in to-go cups, but didn't return with the drinks until she was reminded that we were still waiting for them.
Lastly, the place was a pig-sty. Â Take a walk from the main dining room to the restrooms. Â Look to your left at the storage area. Â Look to the right into the kitchen entry-way. And then, look at the rest room. Absolutely no excuse for this. Â
I had been a big fan of Firestone, but today's experience reflects management neglect and a return visit is not on my agenda.
