Fitz's Spare Keys

I've been here multiple times.  The first time I ordered quesadillas and they were so greasy I could hardly eat them.  Usually places cant really mess that order up.

The few times there since, I only went late to drink.  One of the weeknights there was a DJ playing.  Most people were trying to watch the games in the bar, yet the DJ continued to play.  It was the worst selection of music I ever heard in a bar.  And DJ is a loose term used.  It seemed like he was just shuffling through an IPOD on random.  Every song was was either from the 90's or crappy new rap.  

I also stopped by during bar hopping on a saturday night.  The crowd was really awkward and no one seemed to be having much fun.

I had so much fun here! I went out for my first girls night in a looooong time, and it was the first time I have ever been at Fitz's Spare Keys. We came to watch Wedding Banned on their stage in the back. It was easy to find a seat, and it didn't take long before the place filled up. The waitress was so nice! She kept coming back and checking up on us, making sure we had drinks even though the place was packed. The only issue I had was that I was a DD, and I had to pay for my soda :( Which I hear you usually get for free anywhere else. Not a big deal though, it was still fun but pricy. I didn't get a chance to check everything out, but I do plan on going back for my 24th birthday in a couple weeks!

This place could be better. Drink/food menu are typical, nothing special. The dueling pianos is the only thing that really draws a crowd. The bathrooms are atrocious. I was hoping this Fitz's location was better than the other 2. No. Elmhurst needs something better than the places it has.
